haha, i know, thats what my hubby keeps saying. I'm just so excited for my day to come. I too have loads of friends either pregnant or announcing they pregnant.

I'll wait patiently with all the other ladies on CD8. Here's to the month ahead!!! :A:A:A:A

There is nothing patient about me - I wait for ov and then wait for my AF ... it feels like a vicious circle ... My only good news is that I am away soon so that might take my mind of things :)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone!

I'm new to this thread and new to this baby making business ;) and feeling a little overwhelmed by how much knowledge everyone seems to have regarding their cycle etc :o

My husband and I got married just under three weeks ago and decide we wanted to start trying straight away. I came off the pill on our honeymoon but after taking it for about 11 years and I guess it will take some time for my cycle to settle back down. I had, what I assumed was a withdrawal bleed on the 31st but it lasted 6 days which is linger than normal I don't think it helped I was so eager to stop taking the pill that I stopped mid-pack :o.

I guess I need to just wait until my cycle settles down and just enjoy the practice ;)

Anyway enough of the babbling! Just wanted to say hi! :)

    xx

I was also too excited and came off mid packet - I think I have finally settled down after 8 months but I was on it for 14 years - my mum and anutie however both dropped on within 3 months and both were on it a long time before that - fingers crossed to an early BFP!! Oh and welcome to the board :)

    Hi All, how is everyone?

Giz, congrats for the + OV Stick, BD tonight, tomorrow, the next day...... I so want one of them!! I dont even get a feint line yet. CD13.

Euro, hope you feel better hun, sounds like you have a bit of an ordeal!

Ive been told today to try evening primrose oil to regulate cycles, anyone know if its ok or not? I might try royal jelly too, hell I try anything right now.

Bucket loads of luck for the IVF QQ, sounds like hard work, but so worth it in the end! :)

Welcome newbies, hope your stay is short and sweet.

Woowever said they will be patient, I have to disagree, Im so not feeling patient right now! I want OV and I want a baby.

Hugs everyone and can someone chuck some positive vibes around please? TA! x

Can I ask what this is about royal jelly - I seem to have missed the post and can't find anything ... Also if someone could advise with the grapefruit juice - would be very grateful!! :o

Hope everyone is having a good day - All I can say is I am glad I am now in the second half of the working week ... I am now counting my days every few hours (when I am bored at work) but I already know it off by heart :rotfl:I am determined to wait until 31 days before testing ... had a few cramps over the last few days so not sure if AF is going to make an appearance any day soon.

Welcome to any newbies that I have missed and hugs to people who the witch has attacked! We got anybody testing soon - in need of some more good news

Hope your wedding went fabulously, mine did :D
Here we are meeting on this thread now :rotfl:

Fingers crossed we graduate over to the Under 12 Weeks thread a week apart too!

Hi Icey! Yeah wedding was absoutely perfect! Still getting used to being a wife and having a new name! :D

    Hi emsbet!

Welcome to a lovely thread :) I've been lurking here for ages, but only summoned up the courage to officially join last night! Congrats on your wedding and the start of TTC.

Just wanted to say that not everyone has a lot of knowledge about everything - I only know that I have a 25 day cycle cause I kept a note in my diary last month. Before that I had no idea! Don't worry because you'll catch up really quickly and all the ladies are lovely and will answer any questions you have.

Icey77 - good luck for tonight!! Perhaps you could bribe him with a promise of apple pie afterwards?

    dj x

Oh that's good to know I'm not the only one! I was feeling a bit of a wally for not knowing these things! :o

I feel a bit weird being on here because I've spent so many years dreaming of finding the right man to have a family with that now I have I still can't believe that's it's happening and we are actually trying! :o

Just wanted to welcome all the newbies
Don't be intimidated, I knew nothing about TTC when we started, and am only just getting to grips with opks/cm/temps etc.
I came off the pill in May 10 but we carried on using protection until August and the first time we bd'd unprotected I thought I would get pg straight away :rotfl:
I guess some people are lucky enough for that to happen but then I started reading up a bit and realised how low the odds are of getting pg each cycle. Also, there really aren't that many fertile days each cycle. I was clueless. Still can't work out how there are so many unwanted pgs in this country when its so hard to get pg even when you're trying!!!
Anyway its best to stay relaxed about it for the first few months, because as soon as you start thinking about all these things it can cause you to stress un-necessarily.
    Good luck!!!

I was like the sahara :( nothing was to be going on at all. OH not pleased - no BD'ing and no dessert. Ho hum, perhaps I'll leap on him tonight to try again.
Like Euronorris said, how about a baby friendly lubricant?
Preseed or Conceive Plus (from Boots), will not only lubricate you, but will help the swimmers swim to the eggy:cool:

I've never taken them, but it is supposed to be good for ttc:cool:

Going away seems to work wonders for ttc:cool:

Royal jelly is good for general ttc, and a lot of people who do IVF seem to get pg after taking it. Nothing to lose by trying I'd say:D

Royal jelly is only fed to queen bees, and they are the ones that reproduce. I do realise I'm not a bee but hey ho!:j

As for grapefruit juice, it will make your cm more runny, so make it easier for the swimmers to swim. Also, it will make your womb alkaline and sperm friendly. You take a glass a day:)

    Afternoon girls.

I've got all nervous. I've called doctors to discuss fertility after FF said my LP average was 9 and my last one was 7.
    Waiting for a triage call...

    I'm all shaky!

Can i also ask which vitamins everyone takes. After reading various forums over the net, it seems there's quite a few that I should be taking.
Right now its only Folic Acid and Vit B complex for me.

    Thanks!
