Evening all, well Ive had loads of pma this month. On CD24, 5 dpo and all of a sudden pma has taken a nosedive. Have had an awful day at work and its really got me down. I had to put a guy in consultation for redundancy and it was just awful....the poor guy was poleaxed.
((hugs)) Try not to let it affect you outside of work though (I know it's hard) as it will drag you down. We've got a round of redundancies about to start and I have to re-apply for my job next week, rubbish. Trying not to think about it too much though!MoneySavingMamma wrote: »Hi, I'm here asking advice.
I lurked on here in Jan, then joined <12weeks in Feb, but lost baby last weeks
Sorry to hear thatI don't know anything about TTC after miscarriage, but I think there is a thread specific to that on mumsnet - might be worth taking a peek there and seeing if they've got any advice?
RE. BMI - I agree that it's not set in stone, but BMI is a decent rough guide to healthy target weight. Most people (not all) don't carry enough muscle to vastly alter their BMI, but people do have naturally different shapes, so it's important to take it with a pinch of salt.
My BMI is 25, so I am on the boundary of normal/overweight. I'm a size 12, but only 5'1" so don't carry it well - I could definitely do with losing a few pounds. However, I have enormous nunga nungas (:D) so I think that takes my weight up. To be in the middle of "normal", I'd have to be 8.5 stone - I would look so ill at that weight! At my fittest, a couple of years ago, when I had a lovely flat tummy (sigh), I was 9st - no way could I have lost another half stone.
kellyg - your diet sounds ok from what you say, but it depends on what you have for your evening meal. It's very easy to go well over your recommended calorie intake in just one meal. Also, watch your portion sizes of your cereal - I was amazed how little a "portion" was when I weighed it out!
In other news....no news from me! Didn't manage to seduce DH last night, so hopefully tonight he'll be more up for it!Still no EWCM, but feeling quite bloated today and more spots, so hormones are definitely doing something!
newyearnewstart - good use of "norks"...!
greenergrass - oooooh! hope its something nice

Kellyg,
I am sorry that the tlp wasn’t meant to be – it is hard enough getting your hopes up just been a little bit late!!
Colli,
That has been my reason but I am already obsessing and counting monthly!! My 8 cycles have been a 22, 28, 24, 26, 29, 27, 26, 30, 26 and I am on CD26 with no PMT or AF as yet – so I have ordered my Basal Temperature Thermometer so I can check out if I am ovulating or not (if this month isn't meant to be) … I need a proper place to start planning – It doesn’t help I am a planner and I can not control this.
MoneySavingMama,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you get the support you need either choice you make.

MSM so sorry for your loss, its not normal practise to recieve any tests or help after a miscarriage, untill you have had three miscarriages and they have to be in a row, as well, ie no babies inbetween, !!!! eh.
OK, maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't! We'll see if I toughen up over next few months:j - DS - 7

hey ladies
just a quick one (before i pop off to the gym!) BMI is a load of rubbish. It is unable to take into consideration muscle tone, so the more you exercise, the more muscles you get, the heavier you are, the higher your BMI.
As for me I'm a curvy size 14 (16 on a bad day!) working at losing some pounds which I have done but I don't see myself (all the time!) as overweight and I am never gonna be a size 10 which is what I would be if I had the correct BMI!!!
x
I agree but from the other extreme. My BMI is 17.5, apparently that is quite underweight but I am a size 10 and a very healthy size/shape. Not only does it not take into account muscle tone, it makes no allowances for the fact that we do have different builds. I could put on 4.5 stone and not be overweight according to my BMI but I dread to think what dress size I would be if I did that.
Update from me: I've been taking my temp like a good girl and I actually noticed my CM for about the first time ever today. It was clear and quite runny but fairly stretchy. Is that good?0 -

Good luck calamityclare
Well if I shower I feel sick as a dog afterwards and retch terribly when I clean my teeth. I have noticed a pattern in the last couple of days - I actually feel better in the daytime, (which is good for work) and very nauseous in the night to the point where I feel I will start vomiting although haven't yet.
Still feel like I'm hungover or have had a couple of glasses of wine - swirly head.
Hope everyone is ok x
