Good luck!
Oats helps to sort of soak up excess gas bloat, reduction in salt = reduction in excess water bloat, constipation - well, all the usuals unless you have IBS/digestive type issues (fibre, prunes, natures natural laxatives)
thanks big zippy. I actually don't eat alot of salt, trying peppermint tea at the mo to see if that helps!!!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0 -
QQ - I dreamt that you announced you were pregnant last night! Hoping it's a premonition!February wins: Theatre tickets0

As for me I'm a curvy size 14 (16 on a bad day!) working at losing some pounds which I have done but I don't see myself (all the time!) as overweight and I am never gonna be a size 10 which is what I would be if I had the correct BMI!!!
x
You'd probably have to be an 8 even! I'm in the healthy range for BMI's, about 21.75, I think and a size 10. But....to be the 'perfect' BMI, I'd have to lose another couple of kilos and would then be a size 8 (and hungry all the time!).
I'm not bothering. So long as I am healthy and comfortable with myself, I am not going to obsess over a few pounds and look underweight to fit this so called ideal. I've been there before, and I didn't look or feel good, same as when my weight increased. I just try to maintain my weight somewhere in the middle now. If I'm a size 12 sometimes, who bl00dy cares? OH certainly doesn't, so why should I?
I barely weigh myself these days, and that has helped me to be much happier and confident in myself and with my body.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Oh MSM, ((HUGS)).
Have you asked your GP about getting some help with coming to terms with this, and coping with the grief you'r feeling? It could be a great help to you.

I have no idea. In my dream, she announced it on the forum, so, whilst I am psychic (obviously - feel the power people!! :rotfl:), I have yet to discover what QQ (or any of you other brilliant ladies) look like. lol :rotfl:
Keeping my fingers crossed it's a premonition!
GG - Maybe it was implantation spotting? I hope so! If not, then I hope it was the start of AF and that your cycles become more regular in future.
Bigzippy - Same goes for you my dear. I hope your cycles become more regular in future.
And for everyone - I hope you all get your BFP's as soon as possible! Keza.......how's it going today?I hope the witch has stayed away.
I'm off to get some chocolate, cos...I want chocolate!

I lurked on here in Jan, then joined <12weeks in Feb, but lost baby last weeks (thought I was 10wks, bt was only 8, no hb)
I don't know if I do want to TTC, but want some help if I do.
Will they (DR) let me get checks etc seeing as this is 1st mc. Do they help with TTC after mc, or would I have to be trying for 12m+
This is just to help me decide if a can be faffed to do it all!!
i recently got bfp after mc in november last year. the epu told me to carry on with the folic acid and ring them when i got the next bfp. they said there was things they could try such as asprin to prevent another mc.
rang them this week and they have booked me in for an early scan today. will see what they do when i get there.
i think it is common to have one mc, less common to have two and very rare to get three in a row. they only start testing things after three.
they told me that they don't test after one mc as lots of women get pg quickly afterwards so by the time the results were done there's no point!
they also told me you can be extra fertile after a mc. so if you don't want to concieve, be careful!! they like to you wait until you have your first period after mc for dating purposes.
don;t mean to scare anyone ttc but i am sure this info will be useful to some.0 -

My sister was told the same, pretty much and she did fall pregnant again 2 months after her miscarriage.
I don't think people realise how common miscarriages are. My Mum had 3 in total, but brought 5 pregnancies to term, and the miscarriages were not in a row.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi QQ,
No need for me to test on Saturday - got my AF yesterday ... and whilst I am a bit disappointed I am also (fingers crossed) hoping that this means with 2 CD26 I have regulated after coming off my pill.
Fingers crossed for others testings.
