    Hi Kellg,

Sorry what is tlp? And sorry it wasn't meant to be!

That is a long cycle ... I think our bodies play tricks on us!!

    Hi Smash,

Thanks for that I have order a Basal Temp Thermometer - I haven't actually been using these rather just gauging from the charts - but I think I have had a normal AF so I have invested to see if it makes a difference ... If i'm pregnant I won't need it but I don't want to assume too much just yet :)

Tlp. tiny little positive, hence why it wasnt to be :( but as you say bodies play tricks on us. I suppose they go through a lot dont they? hormones, stress etc. good luck!

Hello! Another one here on contraception for years and a messed up cycle. I keep up with thread on here but don't feel I ever have very much to report/offer so don't post often.

Did feel a bit positive last month as I'd had 2, 28 day cycles in a row so thought I was getting back to some normality but I'm pretty sure I ov'd yesterday which is a good 5 days earlier than I thought I would if my cycle was back to some regularity. I could be wrong though as I only go by CM and I get a swollen feeling one side or the other round about where I imagine my ovaries to be, not very scientific! I'm not going to monitor anything properly (yet!) as I know I'd get obsessed and that's not good for me!

SBDTA - hope we get some BFP's soon as there doesn't seem to have been that many lately x

What do those of you affected do about it? Have you gone on special diets or just marked it up as something you now know, or gone on metformin or...?

I have PCOS and have been prescribed metformin since july. I took it until January and then decided I could not take it anymore, It caused me horrendus side effects and was literally making my life a misery. Unfortunatly I am now on CD86 and have not ovulated since I stopped taking it!!! I bought a few books on PCOS and fertility but haven't done much about it to be honest, I know it is the one thing that will actually help and might make it possible for me to get my BFP! I really need to get my finger out my bum and do something like lose weight/ eat better etc!!!

Thanks to everyone who gave me hugs yesterday, You girls are the best :D

I second what everyone else has said to Phunkles, Hope your not planning on running away to leave us missy! Or you'll have me to answer to!

I may have some exciting news but don't want to get all your hopes up (and mine) so will report back later today! Assume no news is bad news!!!

Evening all, well Ive had loads of pma this month. On CD24, 5 dpo and all of a sudden pma has taken a nosedive. Have had an awful day at work and its really got me down. I had to put a guy in consultation for redundancy and it was just awful....the poor guy was poleaxed.

  • Hi, I'm here asking advice.
I lurked on here in Jan, then joined <12weeks in Feb, but lost baby last weeks (thought I was 10wks, bt was only 8, no hb)
I don't know if I do want to TTC, but want some help if I do.
Will they (DR) let me get checks etc seeing as this is 1st mc. Do they help with TTC after mc, or would I have to be trying for 12m+
This is just to help me decide if a can be faffed to do it all!!

Just popping in to say hi.
I need to lower my bmi rather drastically it would seem. Now which leg can I do without....
I have had a very chilled out day after a weird baby dream (yes I watched OBEM before bed!!!)
I spent the day with a friend and her 11 month old who is teething and is letting EVERYONE on their street know with his high pitch screetch, poor fella, it was nice to see him zooming about and starting to cruise though. Hoping broody genes will make bean a sticky one.

    hey ladies

just a quick one (before i pop off to the gym!) BMI is a load of rubbish. It is unable to take into consideration muscle tone, so the more you exercise, the more muscles you get, the heavier you are, the higher your BMI.

As for me I'm a curvy size 14 (16 on a bad day!) working at losing some pounds which I have done but I don't see myself (all the time!) as overweight and I am never gonna be a size 10 which is what I would be if I had the correct BMI!!!

GG are you pulling our chains, you cant say that then disapper, is it TTC related?

MSM so sorry for your loss, its not normal practise to recieve any tests or help after a miscarriage, untill you have had three miscarriages and they have to be in a row, as well, ie no babies inbetween, !!!! eh.

Mrs vix that sounds horrible, hugglies and keep the PMA up.

    ATBB welcome.

    Phunkles hope your not disappeing.

Not much to report here, ssing as usual:rotfl:

I can second this, my BMI will NEVER be in its optimal range, I am a curvy 12/14 with wide hips and substantial norks. For me to be at my ideal BMI I need to be 9st which would make me look anorexic (sp?)

Please, please don't rely solely on BMI!

Update from me.... CD5... nout else to report :D
