Also, although we really want to have children, I can't say that I know what you ladies are going though each month emotionally.
A lot of us get pg within a month or two, so this is supposed to be a happy place (unless the witch pays us a visit:o).

Also, there's a lot of us who've already had kids and some who's been trying for a while, so there's wealth of tips:D

Feel free to lurk, and post when you want to, and don't forget to take folic acid from 3 month before ttc:cool:

Which brand/type of folic acid is best/cheapest? I am currently taking multivitamins for a few months to try and get my body healthier as I don't tend to eat the best ...

I would say (my personal opinion) the best is Pregnacare or Sanatrogen pg multi-vits, and cheapest is supermarket brand (like Tescos) folic acid:)
Normal multi-vits contain Vitamin A which is not recommended for pregnancy. You can give that to your DH/OH:D

Don't forget the recommended level of folic acid is 400 miligrams (written as um on the side of boxes/tubs). I used Boots folic acid for 12 months before we TTC then moved on to Mother (and Father!) To Be by Sanatogen :)
:hello: Hi all, still like to keep an eye on you all ;) Hope you're all well :)

  • Please excuse this interruption, I don't normally read this thread but for some reason I had a flick through tonight and read someone mentioning the injection as an interium contraception before trying to convince, please from the bottom of my heart do not have this. Myself and lots of my friends have had this and have had nightmare trying to get pregnant. After my last injection it took 2 years for my body to start working again!!

Again sorry for the interruption I'll go back to lurking again. xx

Hi, I am a first time poster but have been lurking for a long time. I would really appreciate some advice. My boyf and I are planning to start trying for a baby and have agreed I will stop taking Cerazette (mini pill) in about 3 weeks (after holiday). I have been taking it for approx 3 years. However I have read a number of stories on the net about people having trouble TTC after comming off of Cerazette and also that there is more risk of mc. I am planning to go to my GP but wondered if anyone on here had any experiences of TTC after Cerazette? Also if it is better to wait a month or more after stopping the pill before we TTC? Any info would be gratefully received as I am worried! :(

    Thanks.
