I used to work in the management team of Ann Summers :) so we used to have stuff like that knocking about (so to speak) but they have dwindled over the last few years since i left...something to investigate further :rotfl:
I think they're half price in Sainsbury's atm ;) And the other big company do them too...forget the name of them now, but they can be the same price ...Mates maybe? (In it's own little plastic storage box too):shhh:
This month we've bought cheapie ones-fingers crossed they work for us both!
    to that!! :D Providing I don't get a +ive HPT first, obv ;)
    Try being on CD65!!!
    No offence GG...but I'd rather not! :p;)

Keep the PMA ladies those 'keeping it fresh' ideas wernt boring. Were away this week end and was thinking something nice n lacy. Hubby wants a baby as much as me but not so easy to get him BD'ing. Im sure it should be the other way round...
Aye, but I've found with DH that it's either because it's "all about getting pg" or because of his own self esteem - nothing to do with not wanting a baby (he's the broodiest man I've ever met) or not wanting me...he's just got some hang ups of his own.:shhh: Could it be something like that?:o

I'm gonna test in the morn again I think...surely if the spotting on Sunday night was implantation I'd get at least a TLP by now...?

Thanks QQ (I ran out of multiquote allowance...and I'm lazy ;))
I wonder if it'd be worth getting DH do mither me for a temp before he leaves, and then doing one when I wake up 'properly' too for a while and seeing if they correspond??

  • Just poking my head in the door to say you lot are certainly chatty at the mo! (((Hugs))) to those that AF got recently :(

CD27 (28-30) for me and a BFN on the hpt this morning. I know it's not over until AF shows but I think I would have had a tlp at this stage if I was pg. I feel exactly like I did in September when I was CONVINCED I was pg, but I wasn't :(

Are other people's pre AF symptoms the same each month, mine vary so much like last month my bo obs were so incredibly painful 2 weeks before AF but not this month, last month my fingers were so swollen, yet not this month, last month I had bad headaches, but not this month ..... however the one thing I can relay on is the irritableness, it just varies in terms of some months I am mildly irritated, others I'm filled with horrible grumpiness ... although I am sure my OH would disagree and say that every month I am a grumpy old bag :p

Following on from Tinksy with the 5 positives to take from not being pg this month ....

    1) I've got a job interview tomorrow and if I'm not pg I'll be able to take the job if I'm offered it.

    2) We can book our September holiday.

    3) Another month of saving money for my maternity leave (although if I get the new job my savings will be hit as it's a £6k pay drop )
    4) I can stick to my diet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:for anther month and hopefully lose the lbs I put on over Christmas - it hasn't worked so far, but you never know!

    5) I can go out with my friends on the 11th and not have to think of an excuse not to have a few sherbets.

............ I'd much rather be pg though :o

We are off to see the fertility specialist on Monday too and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'd much rather be pg and not have to go :o

i've not been symptom spotting as such but at 5dpo I've got a creamy discharge back which I dont think i usually have, very sore b o o bies and a need for mustard!
One can get creamy discharge in the middle of LP, as estrogen slightly surges:o
    6DPO for us now...

Good idea, take the lower temp for FF:)

It'll be a huge weight off your shoulders seeing a specialist:o
It'll possibly relax you and give you a BFP just by seeing them:cool:
Some get pg just by booking an appt, perhaps you could be one of them?

    Hiya ladies!

wow the threads been moving fast, just a quick post on my lunch break sorry if i forget anyone!

Debs nice to see you hunni, was thinking about you yesterday wondering where you'd been. I like that first haircut, v sxy! have you considered going blonde? i used to be dark brunette and went blonde about a year ago and love it!! only downside is its pretty pricey to maintain. but its v flattering if you're a fair skinned Scot like me! your beach trip with Conor sounds lovely a great way to keep the PMA up xxx

*hugs* to Mrs Dave for CD1, we will indeed see a busy xmas for lots of our TTC ladies!

Tinksy your craving made me laugh, quite a random one! i do believe in listening to your body for stuff like that though. unless its telling you pizza and chips ;)

BB hope you get ur answer soon hon

well i usually try to keep the PMA up when posting, but felt bit down last night and hope u dont mind me sharing as not sure who else to talk to....
its just this week is THE week for BDing. supposed to OV anytime from tomorrow til friday. and if we don't fall this month was going to take a 2 month break. Have been trying to keep it light hearted for OH, but he doesn't know how much its cutting me up inside that its not happened yet, and am feeling that time is just ticking away i'm getting older and its not happening. (sorry for lack of PMA!) Anyway, tried to jump OH last nite but he was too tired, he has been working v long shifts this week. He'll be busy til around 10pm tomorrow night and Thursday too, and i'm panicking that if we don't BD we'll miss OV time and miss our chance. OH doesn't know anything about how small a time frame we have to get pg each month, i've not gone into all this with him as didn't want to pressure him and let him know how much i've been planning/charting everything etc. Dont think it would go down too well. Last night I got upset and told him how i felt that it hadn't happened and he thought i was blowing things out of proportion and it will happen when it happens. Little does he know just how much it hurts, dont want him to think i am mental. Anyway we had a bit of a fall out last night and don't know if any BDing will happen now before Friday and its killing me that we're wasting the chance. Can anyone relate to this or do your OHs all know when OV time is & how important it is to BD then? again sorry for the lack of PMA ladies will try to do better next post xxxx

am liking the list of 5 good things so here goes:
    1. We will have a spring bubba and it will be fun to go out walks with the pram and be off work at that time of year
    2. We'll be able to save/clear debt and be in a far better financial position when bubba comes along
    3. Going to be a bridesmaid in May - my dress will still fit!
    4. Get to spend more time with you lovely ladies :)
    5. A couple more months of 'freedom'

Took me all night to remember her name ... Valentina!Cute thing is she was pregnant when at college and she has 2 twin girls. She was petrified she wouldn't cope with 1 baby let alone 2. As her family are in Bulgaria. The girls must be 4 years old now so she must have coped really well!!!

As DH is a once a week person, I have to tell him exactly when:D
He needs a bit of notice though, I say things like, I may be oving tomorrow or thereabouts. Then on the day, I'd say 'I've got Peak on CBFM!', then he knows no alcohol and BD that night:cool:
