    Morning ladies!

    Loving the PMA! :j
My positive for not being pg last cycle is that my yearly review is in February and I would have been 8-12 weeks - potential bad sickness time...!

mrsvicx - hope you get positive news from the blood tests! Lots of people get pg just as they start the testing ;)
colli - It's hard to understand TTC when you think everyone around you gets pg just by looking at their OHs!! Even my DH said last night, do you think something is wrong as he didn't realise it can take time and that everyone is different. If you think about it, when someone announces they are pg, you don't usually ask 'How long have you been trying?' so it's not a widely talked about subject. Even after I get pg, I won't make it common knowledge that we have been trying as I wouldn't want certain people to know that, IYKWIM! Also, contraceptives play a big part - they play with your hormones and that can't be good for TTC. I think, every month I'm not pg is just another month for my body to get more natural in time for baby. Your body will know when it's time; enjoy the ride until then!
((Hugs)) forumgrazer - don't forget we're always here for support no matter what happens; keep us updated xx

CD7(22) DTD last night and I'm going with the 'every other day approach' this cycle. So, BD Friday and Sunday is booked in :p

Hope everyone has a good day!

Sending you big dodgy hugs mrsvicx :grouphug:
It's normal for your hormones to be all over the place at different points in your cycle so don't beat yourself up about it. Tomorrow is a new day and you will feel much better!

I had a very hormonal day on CD1 this cycle and I spent most of the day crying, trying to make up reasons why and I couldn't figure it out! It wasn't until the next day, I realised it was pure hormones!! It's rubbish being a woman, in that respect! :(

So sorry if it turns out to be bad news forumgrazer.
And hugs to anyone else that needs one.

CD 7(30) here, OH suggested we start BDing tonight so might try my preseed for the first time!! QQ can you put me on the preseed list please! (don't you just love the spontaneity of it all!)

Have also got 20 CB digital opks too so gonna start using them tonight and hopefully find my smilie face one day this month. And I started temping this week so hope to find a peak too.

I have a feeling this month will bring a few bfps (and I hope i'm one!)

  • I think I'm right in saying that there's no such thing as a false positive on a pregnancy test. Same thing happened to me in Oct 2010, I was a little bit late and I had lots of very faint positives (which came up within the recommended time, but were VERY faint) but then started bleeding on cd 38 (usually 28 day cycle) Very early days, but upsetting nonetheless:(

    Hope you're OK xxxxxx

You are right, there is no such thing as a false positive pg test. It's hardder to accept when you're testing early and you find out about it, many women have the same situation but as they haven't tested, think it is just a late AF, or even an on-time AF.

My god Pebbles I had the same thing!! Like a drink makes it all better! Some people need a slap!

Weve booked the Lakes for a few days away, and we bought a new tent last year, so hopefully by the Summer Ill be too big to use it! :j

It works the other way round too re: drinks. When I got pg 5 months before my wedding all I got was "Oh no you won't be able to drink at your hen night / wedding / christmas" Like I even cared at all!

So my BBT thermometer arrived yesterday - do you all measure the temp in your foof? :o

Ha ha ha ha love the use of 'foof'!!!
I've just started temping and I'm just using my mouth. Guess if I had lots of fluctuation I might change where I take it but for now oral is easiest.
I did read that to get the most accurate results you should take your temp rectally....didn't fancy doing that tho!!

people must be obssessed with drinking!!

i nearly lol'd at my desk thinking about taking the temp up your foof!!!

    put it in your mouth!!!
  • eak - i so need to learn what all of these abbreviations mean! I'm off to track down the link!
  • You'll all hear "foof" a lot more as your journey through pg progresses lol!!

I measured in my mouth this morning but I was sure I'd read last time around about more accurate measuring "elsewhere" lol
