lol thats my performing seal :D

wow the threads moved fast today, can't keep up. QQ have to say thats a perfect smiley for the AF dance. i can hear the jungle drums!! hope it works for you charlie & kellyg!

good luck with Operation CBFM welshpolarbear :rotfl:xx

Am going to take advice from the thread and concentrate on other things than just TTC and try and enjoy the journey more. Tonight I tidied the flat from top to bottom while OH was at the pub, and bought him a bunch of red roses. He's not back yet so I've left them on his side of the bed for when he comes home.

will check back 2mo for any bfps

Have you decided on where to chart? There's a nice free site online at Fertility Friend I use:

    My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900

It's handy in that we could share our charts for others to look at online:p

Thanks, I've been signed up there since I got my first AF after having DS - only 4 months ago as I'm still breastfeeding but been good to see those 4 cycles clearly and realise they have been regular :T .

CD3 (33) for me. I'm from Swansea, South Wales. Still awaiting my pre-seed & OPK kit. Won't need it until a week Saturday though to start testing. Is the What to expect when expecting book really worth buying?

I'm not sure what this book is, but if you stay on here then move up to the pg thread you'll probably find out all you need to know! I was on a previous version of this TTC thread last time, moved up through pg thread and then on to parents thread (under a different username) and the amount I have learnt from here has been so much more than from 1 single person's viewpoint in a book!

Saying that, I do have a pregnancy book that I'd be willing to send if you want it, it's this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Christine-Hills-Pregnancy-Guide-Essential/dp/B0031RS9UM/ref=sr_1_17?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1295422987&sr=1-17

PM me if you're interested, and there is a MSE pg/parents FB group specifically for this kind of restriced activity if you'd feel happier swapping details on there :)

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me popping in to say hi and wish you all ttc luck?

Thought I'd share some info from when I ttc - I didn't get any ewcm for about the first 6 months of ttc. I didn't realise how obvious it is when it comes. The month we got our BFP I had ewcm once 4 days before getting a positive on opks. I was lucky to find the surge as I only caught it one eve and the following morn. Dh and I only BDd 4 times that entire cycle!! It took us 8 cycles after stopping BC and it happened on a month where I'd relaxed and thought we'd missed it. I ov'd later than expected and nearly didn't bother using opks after having got the ewcm earlier.

Can't wait to see you all over on the less than 12 week thread really soon (which is when you get really paranoid about everything!).

Ps if after my scan everything is good there'll be some opks and a sealed box of pre seed going begging. I'll let you know after the scan (hopefully!)

    Morning ladies!!

Welcome to all newbies! Hope your stay is short!
WonderWomble - I have refused to eat the crisps as I don't want to increase my chances of having twins!! Haha!!
phunkles - Everyone on my fb was announcing their pg last week..! There must be something in the water, I hope we catch it!! Look on the bright side - at least we will be a minimum of 12 weeks after the fb baby rush and we can have the attention all to ourselves! :D

I hope the AF dance works for those that are wishing AF to arrive!

CD6(22) AF has gone and I think I am ovulating as I'm having ov twinges so BD will be in order later! ;) I have kept my cycle average at 22 even though last cycle was a long (for me) 30 days. I am keeping it in mind though so I don't poas as often if I am late again!

I am reading the book (What to expect before you're expecting) mainly due to being fascinated by the whole process. I am amazed that it is so different to what society leads us to believe from a young age. For example - I cannot believe that the window of opportunity to fertilize an egg is so short; I always thought you could get pg at any time. Or, perhaps I didn't pay enough attention in school..?

CD1 for me :(. We are having to have a month off as I have my laparoscopy in 3 weeks. I'm getting a bit stressed about it all because I really can't afford the time off work so I'm having to work late every day. But it's great that they're investigating what's been going wrong so far. And at least DH will get a week off work to look after me/do the tiling and decorating.

We went to the supermarket and I bought every packet of cassava crisps they had. I would absolutely love to have twins but there's no real twin history in the family so I'm not holding out much hope.

Every other day one of my friends seems to announce their pregnancy. I am beginning to wonder if even my male friends will get pregnant before I do!

  • I wanted to ask, does anyone have any idea whether pre-seed and ov cheapy tests will be ok after their BB date?! I have some left over from last time and seems a shame to waste them?

    Good morning:)

Can't log on much this week (I'll pop in, but can't go back to normal operations until next week), but hope to see some BFPs when I come back:wave:

    2 years:eek:
But blood tests and SA is good, they can find a lot of things with that (hormone imbalances which can be cured by tablets):)

I think opks are OK, but for preseed, if it's really out of date, I'd be worried if it may give me a rash or something:o
