I've not read the thread for a couple of days so I'll read back in a bit.
CD8 (30 ish) for me and can't wait for AF to disappear!

The week before last, I got 2 very faint positives on internet cheapies and I posted to question just how faint should they be to be positive. Anyway, at 14DPO I did a superdrug test and it came up positive within an hour. So I had 3 very faint lines on 3 tests, none of which had come up within the the time limit but were definately coloured lines and too much of a coincidence to be evap lines on all 3.
My bbs were really sore, which is usual before AF but they also grew enormous which they never do normally (and I'm 32H to begin with ).
    However, AF arrived at 16DPO.
So I reckon it was a chemical pregnancy. What do you think?

Thanks for the AF dance everyone! I really thought it was going to work. The same as just before Xmas, i was having cramping again exactly like AF coming from Sunday so really thought i was about to start. I still haven't, and since last night I keep getting sudden sharp pains in my left hand side and instead of normal AF cramps im getting more of a crampy ache like if you ate scrunched up or sat scrunched up too long (does that make sense?!?!) lol.

I'm loving the PMA and thinking of good things not to be pg right now. Mine our:

    1. I'm getting married in July so won't have to worry about being big in my dress (not that i really mind, hehe)
2.Longer to keep saving for ickle bump
3.It's kind of still nice to look forward to the joys of pregnancy and children. We will probably only have a couple so I think i might actually be a bit sad when we have had them and can't go through pregnancy and a new born again!

I was definatly loving one born every minute alot more this week, less screaming to scare me :rotfl:

Oh...and c'mon ladies...i predicted 13 BFP's this month! I predict we are going to have a bumper BFP day coming up before the end of the month!

I think I'm right in saying that there's no such thing as a false positive on a pregnancy test. Same thing happened to me in Oct 2010, I was a little bit late and I had lots of very faint positives (which came up within the recommended time, but were VERY faint) but then started bleeding on cd 38 (usually 28 day cycle) Very early days, but upsetting nonetheless:(

    Hope you're OK xxxxxx

Grrr, not happy today. Went to the docs and apparently its two years under our hct before we get any help other than blood tests to check Im oving and sa for dh.

    Not happy now.....

I would go back to see another GP in the practice. The first time I went the GP got my Day 21 wrong and told me it was counted from the end of AF not the beginning. Then he said they wouldn't see me for at least a year for any further investigations. I made an appointment with another GP and she said to come back after it had been 6 months (due to my age).

GPs don't know everything, as good as they are they are General Practitioners meaning they know a little bit about everything.

Thanks womble, but don't think it would be any different as she showed me the referral data on her computer, as I'm only 32 (ha-only) I need to be trying for two years before any hospital referral. Even with us already having ds!! I have my blood test next Wednesday anyway, so we'll see what that brings...

    Morning everyone!

Loving the PMA on here! I thought I was going to be relaxed about the whole TTC thing until we actually started trying! I know we haven't been trying long really but I was quietly confident it would happen quickly due to the rest of my family only having to think about sex to get preggers :o. Though I guess when people announce their pregnancy they're more likely to say how long it took if it happened really quickly, I definately hear more of "well, we started tying expecting it to take a while but got pregnant straight away" than "we were trying for ages".

CD6 of a unsetttled after pill cycle and OH is working away a lot this month so I can't see it happeing this month either. Have booked a break away in April so have something to look forward to. If I'm pg great, if not at least I'll be able to have some of the local tipple:beer:

On a mse note. Does anyone take pre-conception vits? I bought some "his 'n' hers" from a leading brand (can't remember which) that are pretty pricey, are there cheaper alternatives? I had a look in a couple of chemists and couldn't see any own brand versions.

Hi waiting... I had 3 very strong results over 1 week but am now spotting on 24dpo 10 days after AF due - not looking good but will be seeing doctor today - from what I've read though these very early miscarriages are very common in first pregnancy and doesn't mean bad news for future times... anyway will be joining everyone here again soon I fear (once OH and I have had a good cry) sorry to get people down but need to put it down 'on paper' - lets get some BFPs soon ladies to cheer us up x hugs and sticky baby dust to all x

ETA - QQ will let you know when AF confirmed to remove from BFP list - hopefully won't need to but who knows - hope all long-termers get their's soon xx
