Loving the word foof - this forum is the first time I've ever heard it and I will be using it! :D

I said earlier that I would be taking the 'BD every other day approach.' We DTD last night so when DH said can we DTD tonight, I went to my new book to show him that we should BD every other day. To my amazement (and DHs excitement) the book says this:

"For men with a normal sperm count, more is more. If that description fits your guy (or you have no reason to believe it doesn't) once-a-day sex during your fertile period is optimal for conception. For men with low sperm count, however, sex every other day is probably best because it allows the troops to build up again between developments. More than once a day might decrease your chances of getting pregnant as a guy needs time to regenerate his boys."

OH has now mapped out our next 4 evenings and, guess what?!? - They all inlcude BDing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Thanks portsmouthali, forumgrazer and QQ. To be honest, I had convinced myself to wait until AF was due before testing (I kind of get a bit obsessed with PIAC normally) but I felt really different with different symptoms to normal so that's why I tested.:o I suppose if I had waited then I might not have known!

Obviously I was upset and very hormonal for a few days but now I'm seeing it as a positive thing because at least I know OH has swimmers and I do ovulate!! :j
It was my first month of temping and I've found it fascinating that, even though my temperature can be erratic day to day, there is a really clear difference between pre and post ovulation temps. I can't believe we never got taught that at school!!

I was always fairly certain that I ov'd due to pains and ewcm but at least now I have a colourful graph to show it clearly :D
  • Smash - I've never heard of 'foof' either before today!:rotfl:

You'll all hear "foof" a lot more as your journey through pg progresses lol!!

I measured in my mouth this morning but I was sure I'd read last time around about more accurate measuring "elsewhere" lol
