Congrats Mishkanorman, Red Frog and Flutterby on your BFPs

I've been so laid back this month I forgot to use OPKs, my cycles are pretty regular, so I guess I'm 6dpo. At the moment I think I'm more excited about this thread and seeing others get their BFPs.

Sexy Mouse > I crochet, I find it a lot more satisfying than knitting, I started crochet after I saw this blog: http://attic24.typepad.com/ maybe it'll inspire you as well. Some really good tutorials on internet and of couse Youtube, thats where I learnt as well.

    Sorry about the BFN Fannyanna.

    norabatty, hope AF stays away:o
Hoodie sounds brilliant:cool: Obviously a baby hoodie will take a lot less time:p
fannyanna, have a great time at your friend's wedding:) Don't drink too much though in case the spotting was not AF:o

FF should put a line in tomorrow, fingers crossed.
    :T
bigzippy, wanting a baby comes in waves doesn't it? (((hugs))).
    You'll be a mummy soon:)
Well, it's there all the time, obviously...but sometimes it's just so intense it literally hurts. And/or takes my breath right out of my body.:o

Temp is still up... FF is still only keeping a dotted line, but I think it's not got the coverline quite right. But I feel like I am in the 2WW tho....and getting impatient :p

    Happy weekend guys :)

I used to feel like that, but kind of given up now, so I'd probably die of shock if I ever see my own BFP:o

Ummm - hi ladies. I'm scared.

I am a strict 28 day lady. I started my last period at midnight (during a party you see :rotfl:) on Saturday 26th June.

By my calculations it should have started yesterday or today. I took a pregnancy test late last night and am taking one now.

I have pre-period cramps but no bleeding. What do I do? This waiting is awful. I'm assuming I have until tonight to start. and as said I do have some cramping.

Can someone give me a sense of perspective please?

What did the test say? You can get AF type pain in early pg.

I can imagine that actually. I think I would feel incredibly shocked too... and I've not even been trying as long or going through as many procedures to get to this point.:o DH was talking about a job promotion he's thinking of going for, which would increase our income, by a good old whack, the other day...discussing what we could do with the money... and I said "or have IVF....y'know, if we needed it". I'm already mentally preparing for looking into adoption (although even if we had biological children it's something we'd like to consider), in a way. Then again, I've always worried that it's something I'd struggle to "naturally pull off" :o

Either way, I hope you get a "shock" soon.;)

I took the negative OPKs out (recorded in the notes) and no change. So I took out the cervix positions I'd logged, and that changed it to a solid line :D

You may have ov'd late. Or it might be a shy AF or shy BFP. You've been preparing for this, but you're not overly stressed about it. You'll be great either way. ;) Let us know how you go.

Thank you Emsbet - I'm in tears over this... My profile does not include uncertainty.

And I don't want to hope I am as disappointment is a killer. And (I'm sorry if anyone gets offended by this, but I am in a bit of a state) I don't even get disappointed in any massive way by this because.... I'm scared of the responsibility of motherhood and if I am worthy.

This isn't the place to ponder that and we are trying for a baby, but s**t, if I am my life, our lives are going to change.

Mr Praline is watching the cricket with a look of satisfaction and patience. He isn't fazed by this. And I want to punch his lights out for being so calm over everything in life. :( (just kidding - I'd never punch him.... b*tchslap him maybe, but never a punch. Hurts the knuckles you see:rotfl:).

    I need a drink.

    Oh F**k. I'd better not.

It was negative just now. but I piddled... realised dates then used urine I squeezed out an hour later.

A very, extremely scared Praline. Can someone check my dates please? (and I know it's a matter of hours (as Mr Praline just pointed out), but I am so regular that I was able to plan my periods for the whole year Jan last year. And it was correct.

    Pralines.

    ((hugs)) take a deep breath.

28 days will be 12 tonight if you had last AF at midnight 26/6.

I think you should either wait until the morning and test fmu or if you can't wait that long try holding your pee for three hours and then testing again.

If it's BFP you have 8 months to prepare. You'll be fine you have your DH to support you and deep down this is what you want that's why your TTCing.
