Average period turns up 14DPO - even the premium brands like CB Digital have an accuracy rate of approx 55% 4 days before your period is due, increases to 80-something% 3 days before, 98% 2 days before and 99% accurate the day before your period is due. Your tests should let you know your accuracy rates. However, you should be aware that chemical pregnancies can be picked up on these tests - if you never tested early, you'd never know as your period would probably turn up as normal or maybe a day late. If you've never had one of these, don't underestimate how upsetting this can be - in these cases, blissful ignorance is definitely the way to go.
Either way, these tests aren't cheap so I'd wait til at least 2 days before your period is due and they are 98% accurate at that stage. Cheapie internet tests probably won't pick anything up until your period is due/overdue.
I'm due tomorrow but won't be testing til Sunday if I last that long before AF turns up. Temps were disappointingly low since OV but skyrocketed yesterday morning, went back to normal this morning, who knows what will happen in the morning. Got some "period pains" while out walking earlier so I'm thinking it will turn up tomorrow.Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100

'allo allo and evening one and all,
What has eveyrone been up to this evening? I've been playing around on the internet, wasting time! Skyping with DW and DS, and making nachos! Nom!
I just made the mistake of watching 'one born every minute' - god that show is a guranteed tear jerker!!
I was supposed to go out tonight, but I really couldn't be naffed, so threw pjs on and slumped in front of the telly. I get to watch watch my dirty little secret shows - trashy tv/documentaries without being judged by my wife!
sexymouse - yey for last day of term! You reminded me that I felt ever so guilt that I forgot to get DS's nursery teachers a present. I am determined to make sure his teachers through primary school and onto secondary get presents - you guys do AMAZING jobs and bloomin deserve the holiday you get - you should get more imo.

Yes it is a symptom but then again it might be something completely un related - that's TTC for you!
As Nora said you are best to wait for 14DPO to test as the earlier you test the higher then chance of either a false negative or detecting a chemical pregnancy.
The way I see it is, if at 10DPO you are pg and the bean is a sticky one you will still be pg at 14DPO+ - if that makes sense?!
Of course it's completely up to you when you test just offering my opinion

I've just recently taken it up. I had been thnking about it for a while and then Rebekah was talking about it and put the papoose pattern on here so I thought I would learn.
I bought this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Knitty-Gritty-Knitting-Absolute-Beginner/dp/0713685425/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311405109&sr=8-1 and have been teaching myself. I'm only on the first project - the scarf. It's taking a bit longer than it should because I bought the yarn before the book came and got one that wasn't chunky so it takes longer to do!
The book has patterns for booties and little cardigans that I'm hoping to have mastered if we ever get a sticky bean.My temps are up!:j I think I've ov'd:cool:

:j:jYay:j:j
My temp has gone up but still .02 degrees below my coverline! I had lots of weird dreams and nightmares last night so maybe that had an effect. I tried to go back to sleep but only managed an hour at a time but both of the further two temps I took were way over the coverline. But I guess I can't put them in.
I was naughty ssing last night - most of yesterday I had a poking/tugging feeling near my belly button and last night had sharp pains going horizontally across my lower abdomen. But then I woke this morning with higher (but still not high enough) temps and some mild AF type cramps. This is why you shouldn't ss ladies!
Sorry for the moan.
