Trying for a Baby Part Six

Morning all,
Was asked for a test stick this morning (CD9) on CBFM, and whilst waiting for the results, Moon was sat there in bed singing "I'll be your baby dancer, dancer for babies" lol :rotfl:It's nice to know that he's really into it too.
Thank you for the lovely comments 2ba3c. You made me blush. Only one more day to go now, and actually, I'm going to be a little bit sad to leave after a dodgy start. Still, there are quite a few people leaving, and maybe I'll be asked back to cover the odd day of courses or sickness. As for planning your dream nursery, I'm finding it very difficult when I walk past baby aisles in supermarkets not to buy loads of little clothes - there are such cute things around at the moment, and they're in the sales. :money:Apart from the fact that I'm not PG yet, I don't want to jinx our chances, so I'm trying desperately to push such thoughts to the back of my mind.
Congratulations on the OV QQ - fingers tightly crossed for you that you will catch the eggie.
emsbet I wish I could knit - my Mum tried to teach me in vain as a child, and I found it so frustrating (I think she did too) when I couldn't do it, that I gave up. I have heard that crocheting is a lot easier though, and a TA in one of the school I supplied in had a lovely pattern book with some baby stuff in too. If I'm at a loose end, I may investigate trying this. Apparently she taught herself from videos on youtube.
Well plan for today, is to try and de-hobbit myself if there are any appointments at the beauty salon. They are doing 3 treatments for £50 until the end of July, so trying to decide which ones to have other than the leg waxing. ETA I'm going to go on Tuesday afternoon (first day of the holidays) for a leg wax, facial and back massage. Then BD tonight, even though I got a low on the CBFM, as I want a store of "Moon's Boys" (as he calls them) building up ready.
Hugs to all those on CD1, or who just need one.

It's taking a bit longer than it should because I bought the yarn before the book came and got one that wasn't chunky so it takes longer to do!The book has patterns for booties and little cardigans that I'm hoping to have mastered if we ever get a sticky bean.My temp has gone up but still .02 degrees below my coverline!:mad:I was naughty ssing last night - most of yesterday I had a poking/tugging feeling near my belly button and last night had sharp pains going horizontally across my lower abdomen.Moon was sat there in bed singing "I'll be your baby dancer, dancer for babies" lol :rotfl:It's nice to know that he's really into it too.Apart from the fact that I'm not PG yet, I don't want to jinx our chances, so I'm trying desperately to push such thoughts to the back of my mind.ETA I'm going to go on Tuesday afternoon (first day of the holidays) for a leg wax, facial and back massage.

Yes she has a house in Chichester near the theatre as she does a lot of performances there. I see, so chunky is faster:cool:
Yup chunky is faster - you need less stiches than with thinner yarn.Well at least it's up:)
'tis true.Sounds good:) Fingers crossed.
Maybe. i'm going to make a brew now and stop obsessing.

OMG it's only 10.30 and the day is dragging!! Still no sign of AF, BD'd yesterday evening in an attempt to bring it on so I wouldn't spend all of today getting my hopes up. Temp is the same as yesterday, about 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit above the coverline, which would suggest I'm not pg. Last time, I was an average of 0.55 - 0.6 above when I got my BFP.Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100

By the way, I'm a long-term knitter. We learnt it in school - the boys got to play football, the girls knitted - something tells me they wouldn't get away with that nowadays!! Anyway, that was in primary school but I took it up again a few years ago and go through phases where I knit for a week or two, then forget about it for 3 months, take it up again for a few weeks, and the pattern continues (pun intended!)
Very good for destressing so might try it out today! I'm working on a hoodie (for me!) DH is away all day so the plan is to keep myself occupied by cleaning the house from top to bottom and listening to cheesy sing-along music that he normally would not tolerate.Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100

Hi All,
Just a quick one as I'm frantically trying to get ready for my best friends wedding. Will catch up tomorrow but hope everyone is well x x x
I think I'm on something like CD38 today so Hubby made me do a pregnancy test this morning. I assured him that it was pretty impossible to get a BFP as I hadn't ovulated but I guess he was hopefully. Well as expected it was a BFN (no sympathy needed as I knew it would be :rotfl:). So all this stemmed from AF being late. Just been having a bath and typically I have some spotting. So that was a wasted test. Oh well, fingers crossed for CD1 tomorrow.0 -
Hi all, I've not been about for a few weeks, partly from being on holiday with no Internet (aargh!) and partly because there is nothing to report! I didn't get round to using the ovulating sticks properly-when I remembered I had one very very feint line but not sure what that means and the other couple of times it was negative. I've basically gone for the bding every couple of days approach to hope that I catch an egg. Not sure when AF is due as my last 3 were 28' 29 and then 36 days so will keep trying and then test next weekend maybe!
Have a good weekend everyone! Xx0
