hello everyone! Just a quickie - dashing on to finally update my FF chart and pop in to say hello to you all!
I've been soooo busy lately - doing lots of fun stuff in the evenings now that it's summer :) Haven't had much time/inclination to sit in front of the computer, TBH! I have been lurking and trying to vaguely keep up though.
I'm on CD10, and during my period I did quite a bit of drinking...naughty me. I've stopped now though, and won't have any more alcohol until when/if next AF arrives. Gotta chill out and let loose every so often - plus there's got to be a silver lining to the cloud that is AF! :D

HUGE congratulations to darkphaery, that's fantastic news! :) I've got a feeling I've missed another BFP too...congratulations to you too, sorry I can't remember who it is! :o

Slightly worried as DH still has "issues" down below. Sorry if TMI, but he has tiny little spots all over the tip of his penis...does anyone have any ideas what it is? The first doc he saw thought it was thrush, and gave him antibiotics and thrush treatment. It didn't go away, so he saw a different doc, and they thought it wasn't thrush, so they tested him for everything else under the sun. All the tests came back negative (good - as god knows where he would have caught anything from!!) Anyway, DH told them we were TTC, and they said we could still have sex as it wasn't contagious...although they don't actually seem to know what it could be?! :o It's definitely better than it was -i.e. there are far fewer spots and they're now hardly visible.

I'm so desperate to at least TRY TC this month, that I'm inclined to go for it anyway - is that weird/wrong?! It was just so depressing last month to not even be able to try. DH is going to the doc again this friday, but that will be CD12 and really I'd like to BD before then as I ov'd on CD12 last cycle.

Sorry, that was all a bit TMI and DH would be so embarrassed if he knew...! :o

Right, I must go, bed time. Hugs to those with not much PMA, and those that have been having AF or nasty tests etc :grouphug:

Hi Ladies J Just coming out of lurk mode for a while!
Massive congratulations to all those with BFPs – it’s amazing and a great incentive for the rest of us! I’m on CD27 (of a 28 day cycle) so due AF tomorrow. Not convinced we’ve hit lucky so trying not to get my hopes up – I’ve got some funny crampy feelings (I’ve never had period cramps – to the envy of my friends!) but think I’m just over analysing my body!! Will update as to whether AF shows tomorrow – I’m usually clockwork regular!

    Love NG xx

Oooh good luck NG, i'm keeping my fingers crossed the witch doesn't arrive :o
    *Crawls out of lurking*

I had to read this a few times to realise you meant your SHOT GLASS is bright orange :o

    Morning all,

CD13 and still low on my CBFM. Hope that doesn't mean I won't ov this month. I'm waiting for 8.30 so I can make a doctor's appointment about my back - it's still really hurting, and this will be day 4 of the pain which seems to be getting worse not better. It hurts every time I bend over to eat or clean my teeth etc too, so a bit miserable.

Hugs for all who need or want them, and fingers crossed for those waiting for AF.

Pain, illness and (apparently) ibuprofen can delay/interfere with ovulation, so try not to worry too much (as worrying can delay&interfere too!) :)

Thanks zippy - will try not to worry too much. What will be will be.

ETA - just read about ibuprofen - maybe I should book a massage instead.

Doctor's appointment made for 11.30 - hopefully she will be able to suggest options that are suitable if TTC.

    Good luck :)

Btw, the only safe painkiller in preg is paracetamol, so that's likely all the doc will suggest/recommend. In terms of anything stronger, codeine (in cocodamol) is actually safer than ibuprofen.

    Morning all.

((hugs)) Mouse. Zippy is right paracetemol is probably what your doctor will recommend. They'll probably also say to remain active as often with backache lying down and resting can make it worse (I've had lots of different back pain over the years). Hope it clears up soon.

Well I'm still spotting, spoke to the EPU to give them the results of my HPT I took Sunday. Didn't get to ask about the spotting though, the midwife was lovely but she had put down the phone before I could ask. I've decided if it is still going on after the weekend or hasn't turned into AF I will try and get a doctors appointment to to make sure all is ok.

Full up with cold today too but fortunately we are having Sky installed so I already had the day booked off so at least I don't have to sit at my desk with my germs.

Had a bit of a shock this morning when I got on the scales. The week after my BFP I lost three pounds because of the stress and worry but since then I have put on five pounds! No wonder my clothes are feeling a bit "snug":rotfl: I really need to stop moping around and start eating properly again! Oh well I think it's been the kick up the bum I needed!

Hope you all have a nice day.

    xx
