QQ - can you change me to CD5 please?
Went out for a run last night, managed 30 mins without stopping which was decent enough considering I haven't run in over 2 months ( the last time was 3 days before I discovered I was pg and then had mc afterwards). But I've piled on about half a stone in the meantime and you can really feel it when you're running!! It's like somebody put a small sack of sand around my waist! You can see it too!
Anyway, legs only slightly hurt today and I am still on my holliers til Monday so am off for a cycle with my new bike which I purchased yesterday. Woohoo! :j
Littleme, I bought a load of OPKs from Amazon, cost next to nothing, they come in discreet packaging so the postman won't know what you're up to! They suggest you pee on them once a day, making sure it's not your first morning urine (FMU), usually sometime between 10am and 6pm. They also tell you what day to start testing depending on how long your cycle usually is. I use them once a day until I start to see a faint line, at which stage I use them twice a day because a faint line is still a negative. You only get a positive when both lines are as strong as each other, which can easily be missed, so for about 2 days, I test at 11am and again at 3pm. It's fun peeing into a cup at workOverpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100

Thank you, will go on amazon and have a peek and start tomorrow. Am on CD16 but my first cycle was 73 days so I am hoping cycle 2 wont get that far! xx0 -
Bfp,cd etc
BFP = big fat positive (pregnant)
BFN = big fat negative
CD = cycle date (counted from first day of period - full flow)
AF = aunt flow (period)
BD = baby dancing (s*x)
OPK = ovulation prediction kits
HPK = home pregnancy kit (test)
Etc - et cetera (and so on) - ok that was just me being cheeky0 -

I'd say go and get it done now. Providing everything is ok you can carry on TTC as usual. I think they say having it done around CD14 is optimum but I think anytime is fine (just not when AF is in town).
The only time it will have an impact on TTC is if you have an abnormal result. I did and I had to have a colposcopy and biopsy and they say not to get pregnant as if you need treatment it makes it more difficult.
P.S. Have some hugs for your downer. I find chocolate also helps lol0 -

I'd go shortly after AF so there's no way you could be pregnant as that's a big no no after your BFP. I got my reminder through end of May, and was waiting for AF to book mine but BFP came firstSo glad I didn't just go and get it done.......
PS - Loving the chocolate pictures
Redfrog - Great that you're getting help to move things along. I don't know much about a laparoscopy but some people call it a lap and dye. I thought someone on here would have had one. Anyone?TTC #3..........0 -
