I'd go shortly after AF so there's no way you could be pregnant as that's a big no no after your BFP. I got my reminder through end of May, and was waiting for AF to book mine but BFP came first
So glad I didn't just go and get it done.......
PS - Loving the chocolate pictures
Redfrog - Great that you're getting help to move things along. I don't know much about a laparoscopy but some people call it a lap and dye. I thought someone on here would have had one. Anyone?
Strange how things have changed. I remember having a smear test when I had my first preg confirmed almost 17 years ago. I asked again last week as way overdue on my smear test and its now a big fat no no when preg.:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hi everybody!
Just a quick note with an update. Had my 2nd ppointment at 4pm today with the fertility consultant. He basically asked general questions about my cycles since my last appointent in April- I have PCOS without the symptoms exept that my cycles are very irregular. I told him that my cycles had become shorter in length (last one was 37 days) and he was very optimistic about that although he did say that they were still quite long. Told him that I had been temping and showed him my chart and he said that it looked like I definitely ov's last month. Told me to continue with the temping. The blood work I had done last month were inconclusive- done at the wrong time as I was only 2DPO and the levels of progesterone were only 29- should've been much higher. He's asked me to go in on CD2 of my next cycle for another blood test-can't remember what this test was for now?! He's also given me a test tube for DH to do his semen analysis. He also said that he would arrange an appointment for me to have a laparoscopy. Feeling nervous about this as he said it's done under general anasthetic. Any advice on what to expect with this would be greatly appreciated!
Hey redfrog have mainly stopped replying to this thread but still a lurker:rotfl:just to see if there is anything I can help with !
I had a laparoscopy a few years ago for abdo pain and they were trying to work out why. It was also done under GA its a very quick procedure they basically put you under then make if I remember 3 small incisions in your tummy one through your belly button and one at around each hip ! they inflate your tummy with air pumped in through one of those incisions and through the others they insert cameras so that they can investigate all of your bits and pieces and make sure there is nothing untoward to be seen.
The incisions are really small (so small I remember having just a plaster on them) the only one that left a small scar was the belly button one and even then it was tiny. You will feel groggy when you wake up but shouldn't be in any pain what I will say is though you will trump loads :rotfl::rotfl::o its just because they filled you with air though nothing sinister but they didn't warn me about it before hand and I was so embarrassed afterwards.
I believe I was in under GA, procedure completed and out in about an hour so it isn't long at all and they will do them all the time.
Hope that helps a little bit try not to worryI know easier said than done.

I use a plastic shot glass - a bit tricky but fine once you get the hang of it. Plus it's small so it's a little more discrete (well mine would be were it not bright orange!:rotfl:)

I will make it my next mission to find a little plastic shot glass then that can be hidden in my hand!
So you just have to dip the stick in the pee and then go back to your desk.....just worry if you spend 10 mins in the loo everyday you may start getting funny looks!

Does Kiss mean something else in Holland?
I asked a colleague at work about it, and she said it refers to a drop off/pick up point, and they are literally referring to the action of one person getting out of the car, quickly kissing the driver goodbye, and then the driver rides off. So it's an English term, cos you know, the language isn't difficult enough to learn as it is! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Do you have drawers in your desk? You could maybe bring the stick back to your desk and hide it in the drawer and check it after ten minutes. Just make sure no one goes looking in the drawer for something - they might have a shock!
