Hi everybody!
Just a quick note with an update. Had my 2nd ppointment at 4pm today with the fertility consultant. He basically asked general questions about my cycles since my last appointent in April- I have PCOS without the symptoms exept that my cycles are very irregular. I told him that my cycles had become shorter in length (last one was 37 days) and he was very optimistic about that although he did say that they were still quite long. Told him that I had been temping and showed him my chart and he said that it looked like I definitely ov's last month. Told me to continue with the temping. The blood work I had done last month were inconclusive- done at the wrong time as I was only 2DPO and the levels of progesterone were only 29- should've been much higher. He's asked me to go in on CD2 of my next cycle for another blood test-can't remember what this test was for now?! He's also given me a test tube for DH to do his semen analysis. He also said that he would arrange an appointment for me to have a laparoscopy. Feeling nervous about this as he said it's done under general anasthetic. Any advice on what to expect with this would be greatly appreciated!
Great news that your doctor was optimistic and that he thinks your ov'd last month. :j
Sorry can't help with the laparoscopy as I've never had one but I'm someone on here will have.
Fannyanna: how did you get on at the doctors? Been thinking about you.

Thanks guys and hi to you too!
I've never taken my temps and not sure what xharting my cycles involves but will def have a look at fertility friend later. Stupid question-what do you guys use to measure temps and when do you do it? My first two pregnancies were happy accidents so now I feel a lot of pressure! I think my next step should really be to get rid of.two babies worth of extra body! Went to a gravity session last night which was great-sore today though and together with AF appearing and my flat going on the market in the next 10 days I think I may need a wee drink!
Happy bding everyone! Xx0 -

There is are links on the first page for digital BBT (Basal Body Thermometers) that are sold on Amazon - You need one that that measures to two decimal places.
Fertility friend has a lot of information on charting and TTC in general - it's really useful - if a little addictive!
Here's a link to my chart so you can see what sort of thing you can put on it
My Ovulation Chart
If you look on the "Team Sticky" list that QQ posts each day - those who are on FF have a link for their name that takes you to their chart. Have a nosey at other people's it might give you an idea of what different charts look like.

Feeling very blue today
Was convinced that this month was ours - week away booked booked in our favourite city in the world, ideally timed. no work, no house stuff tothink about, just lots of time to spend together with no stresses......perfect eh?
Nope. AF arrived this evening & I am GUTTED. more so than previously.
I am getting so worried that we've left it too late & that I am destined to end up a mad cat lady.......
any tips of getting the mojo back ready for next month?I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -
Thanks emsbet-will have a look at all that just now- it's mid blowing? Your chart looks very complicated but I'm sure I will get it all soon!
Wishing everyone luck! (and me!)

Ahhh thank you (and everyone else).
Short answer is that I’m fine. Long and TMI answer…….
I had quite a wait when I got to the hospital so I really started stressing out. By the time I was called in I'd got myself quite worked up and it was clear to the nurse that I was anxious. The doctor and the two nurses were brilliant - very kind and really tried to put me at ease.
The colposcopy itself was fine. Just like a smear but a bit longer. Wasn't exactly comfortable but what do you expect. Then came the biopsies. The first one was ok. It did hurt a little – wasn’t really bad at all but it did make me flinch however as quick as it happened it was all over. The second was completely different. I felt him tugging away and it really, really hurt. Afterwards I thought I could breathe a sigh of relief as he’d done it but I then started cramping really badly and it got even more painful. It took a little while for that one to stop bleeding too. After that it was all over but I had to lay there for a while as I’d started shaking quite a bit with the pain.
I was in quite a bit of discomfort after and walking back to the car I had to keep stopping and double over a little. I’ve been taking painkillers since and I now just have bad period pains.
Good news is that the doctor thinks everything will be ok and I won’t need treatment (although at least if I do they give you a local anaesthetic for that) but I have to wait for the biopsy results. He thinks the fact that I hadn’t been having periods for such a long time had caused the abnormal cells and had skewed the results a bit.0 -
Hello:wave:
It's been hectic at work, and socialising:o
Also cleaning the house/garden as I have people staying:o
Will resume normal operations mid July:cool:I'm CD28 today, still got the sore throat a little bit, nearly 2 weeks now!!!have a little bucket BBQ at the minute and I ended up sat next to it holding the big parasol over it when it started raining.....now that's what I call dedication!!!OH and I are having a 'date night' on thursday, going for a curry and a couple of drinks. As I'm on CD13 that means I 'should' be about to ov, so me and DH BD'd last night and the night before, and hoping to again today and possibly every night this week if we're not too shattered!!Now I had better get registered at my local GP (moved Oct last year) and get an appointment hadn't I!
Better register at the GP asap, you are going to have a busy 8 months! Any thoughts on your birth plan?:)littleme82 wrote: »From looking at my chart it does not look like I have OV this month so guess tonight as good as any to start.......:eek:Oh we have both been spotting since Saturday! lol. Wish it would get on with it ...I don't know what it is. It doesn't feel like AF - had no cramps and it's more watery/brown CM (sorry TMI) but then I had that a lot before MC last month. Wait and see is the name of the game I guess.

I've posted the pic on my facebook hoping for my Dutch friend's input:pI was on CD1 from Saturday night/sunday morning (we are not sure what to count as CD1 - I literally started at 12ish at a party!)
AF arriving in the middle of a party:oAs for me, cd22(29ish day cycle its averaging for me). Been feeling some sharpish pains in my lower side the past couple of days, not painful, more annoying, wonder if it's ov  I dunno, will have to wait and see, AF due next tuesday-ish.I'm a beginner bee keeper and lately due to the weather there have been a lot of swarms so I've had no time to SS so far this 2WW.Hi guys!
Can I join in please? I've been lurking for a couple of weeks waiting for either a BFP or AF to happen and today AF made an appearance unfortunately, 10 days later than expected.
Would you like to be listed on the first page?
Would something like this be OK?
pokey128 (age? not compulsory:p) TTC#3 since 06/11I'm very confused with my cycle as I had ewcm when I should have about cd12 and then nothing. Bd a fair amount (!) but prob at the wrong time given today's appearance.
Hope you'll catch it next month:)x_Charlie_x wrote: »Sorry i've been a bit awol recently, been so busy and stressed with Wedding things...eek!
Good luck with the weddingStill low on my CBFM, so will be interesting to see when it picks up a surge as day 11 today. Should be in the next few days hopefully.I'm off to the IOW on a school trip tomorrow so hoping the weather is nice. I've just bought babywipes (in case anyone is sick or anything nasty is sat on etc) and some tissues - public toilets - just in case, as I bet the two male teachers won't have thought of these things. lol
To spot someone thinking of being sick is to look for anyone who's excessively yawning:cool:he said that it looked like I definitely ov's last month. He's asked me to go in on CD2 of my next cycle for another blood test-can't remember what this test was for now?!He also said that he would arrange an appointment for me to have a laparoscopy. I did read that people get shoulder pains afterwards as the gas travels upwards or something.
I think it is the best procedure for fertility:cool: (Assuming your DH is fine).Lurker1972 wrote: »AF arrived this evening & I am GUTTED. more so than previously.I am getting so worried that we've left it too late & that I am destined to end up a mad cat lady.......

You deserve some choccie:0 -
Thanks qquaver, I would love to be on the first page! I'm 31.
Hope everyone had a good night and hugs to anyone who needs them xx0 -
Pokey- whats a gravity session?
Hugs Fannyanna, hopefully all over now for you
Hugs Lurker, wthout wanting to sound too flippant, there is always next time.
Had some very painful cramps over the last week and seem to have been, ahem, moist for over a week, so hoping that this is all a sign that my monster cycle was a blip and not the start of riduculously long cycles.
Getting a new bed delivered today, but it will live in the garage until we move. If anyone wants a bungalow I have one to sell, much reduced price as we have put an offer in elsewhere and just waiting to sell this one before we can move.
Is anyone else doing race for life? I am on 19th July and haven#t started training yet, 5k won't be that far will it? Just can't motivate myself to do any training at all at the mo, and getting sponsorship is going equally badly, oops!
Enjoy the sunshine everyone
