Hi, I am new to this but I think the best way would be to get a thermometer that is digital to 2 decimal points. Then if you register with Fertility Friends and start from the first day of next cycle it will record it all for you and do it automatically. I think you have to take your temp first thing when you wake, without moving, same time of the day and after at least 3 hours undisturbed sleep. You put it under your tongue on the same side and the one i have just brought beeps when its done!

Hope I have all this right - if not someone please correct me!! :D

    You're right littleme. :)
2b there are some links QQ put on the first page of thermometers and cheap opks that a lot of us have bought.

To everyone else, this thread can be a wonderful place for support and advice. You've all got the same goal and bfp's aren't rationed xxx

Very well said, we have a common goal, I am absolutely thrilled when every BFP is announced and just hope that I am able to make an announcement of my own shortly.

Also, is it me or has their been a baby explosion in RL lately? All I see is PG ladies, maybe its just cos thats what you are thinking about?!?

I O'd today, so we sorta "BD'd" - Im officially in the 2ww.
I read this as ODed - like overdosed - and couldn't for the life of me work out what that had to do with BDing and the 2ww!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now my question is this - how soon after you Ovulate, is you period expected to start / when do you test? Last month I tested at about 10dpo, and then didnt test again until AF arrived, as I just expected her too.............
What emsbet said :) 14dpo ideally.

however this is now goodbye from me, this is not the place i joined six months ago and i no longer wish to be part of it.
Sorry to hear this tinksy, but I hope you get that BFP before any medical intervention is needed :o Good luck :)
Big Zippy I know you posted a few days ago asking how my first tri was going and I didn't reply yet, but thanks for asking. Things are going well so far although the nausea is horrible. Had 12 week scan and just wishing my days away until due date.
Does that mean you're in the 2nd tri now? Or was the 12wk scan done early? Sorry to hear about the nausea, but hopefully if you're near/into the 2nd tri that should start to ease off and you'll start to "glow" ;) Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy :)

hello all, hope you've had a nice weekend.
Firstly, congratulations to twigpig, emsbet, MrsExcited and keza! (I think that was all the BFPs, sorry if not - I've just had to catch up on 7 pages and have a rubbish memory!) A brilliant start to the month :)

I haven't been posting much on here lately for a few reasons - been quite busy, and been a bit upset about the whole TT(and failing!)C. Looking back at the last few pages, looks as though I was wise to stay away! Some really nasty/thoughtless comments flying around and it's just not necessary. However I just choose to skim over the horrible comments and focus on the nice ones! :)

Not going to say any more about it (in the hope that it will die down quickly) other than to say in response to those who have said they feel that they left and weren't missed - I don't think that's true! I have often thought about people that were regular posters, and wondered where they'd got to, but figured they'd either got a BFP and were too shy to post about it (given recent events), or that they were just taking a break from posting, due to stressing about TTC. I think I have asked where one or two people had got to, but just because they happened to come to mind at that particular moment doesn't mean that I haven't thought about others too! Often I'm sure I forget to comment on particular comments/questions etc from people, too, but that's because I don't get on here as regularly as I'd like, so have to catch up on lots at a time, and find it hard to remember everything!

CalamityClare - I'm so sorry about your loss :( I was so pleased for you that you got your BFP and I hope that you don't have to wait too long for another.

As far as news from me goes, not much to report. Still awaiting ov, but I think its imminent as had temp drop this morning and ewcm. However, no BD-ing (DH still has thrush) :( Can't believe it's going to be yet another month that goes by...and this time without even a chance. Spoke to DH about it yesterday and he's getting really upset about it too (just not really talking about it much). People keep asking me when we're going to start TTC and I have to keep laughing it off, changing the subject etc :(

Anyhoo, that's enough moping from me, worse things happen at sea.

Work tomorrow, boo. Best go get my stuff sorted out ready.

Have a good rest of your evenings!

    BB x

    Evening All

    Huge Hugs ladies :A

well it seems AF has already stopped :o so BD can start for fun now until he is needed for serious business :rotfl::D:p

When we got caught with DD2 we did it twice a day for 7 days  I wasn't going to miss OV day for no one!!!:rotfl:

I used OV sticks with the one we lost then i decided to let fate decide with a lot of bd'ing action thrown in :o;)

When I started on this TTC thread I was a lurker for ages and picked up loads of help & info that would have taken me ages to find. I have now got loads of the girls as friends on book face and have even met up with some of them.

We are all in the same boat we all want the same thing. We are all hoping that the next BFP is our own.........................

We are all amazing ladies with the same wish :A :A :A

I really dont understand this thread, "24" people have left and not posted here for various reasons and as soon as the nasty comments return so do several missing posters !?!?

Ive had a shocking day, I'd love nothing better than to sit back and read of someones highs and offer some minimal comfort to those who arent where they wish to be , Im 100% sure my journey isnt judged by anyone elses, just made that little bit better for sharing it with others who have the same goal.
