Hope not :( Though, I guess, with DH away, at least you might feel less like a chance has been "wasted"? :o

This is my FF chart, not quite sure what's what but thought I would share now I've got a few days worth of temps.
Have added you and the person who posted a link earlier too (can't remember who it was now, but they only had a numbered username on ff, not a nickname?)
have been trying for 34 months now and wouldn't wish this on anyone and I wish with all my heart that no-one in the world would take longer than a couple of months to conceive then no-one would have to go through this heartache.
    Agreed.
I'm so sorry it's taking so long MTT :(
I do also feel I have to say that GG and Phunkles didn't post just to be provocative. I moved over to their forum a while ago simply because all the long-timers over there are going through more similar things to me and I felt more comfortable with that. However several of the posters there had been on this thread for a very long time and felt that they weren't missed here at all and were a bit upset by this and that is what prompted GG and Phunkles to post what they did.
If I've been oversensitive, then I apologise, but it was the way that it was starting to feel - particularly as the latest comments felt directed at me, especially with the quotes used.

I'm very glad that you feel comfortable with them/there, I'm sad that it's become like this though, and that you guys don't feel missed. I have no idea how long particular people have been posting on here, and struggle to remember the specifics of posters' TTC journeys, but I also suspected that people would have been put off posting/dropped out or back to lurk/regroup/take a step back from TTC (like a fair few have come back and said)/gone on holiday/been busy away from the computer/had weddings/etc. There are many reasons why people don't continually post, and not being someone who knows/remembers/realises why that might be, I don't often comment on someone's absence/quietness. I can only assume that this might be the same for others on here - particularly posters who have only been on this thread for a relatively short period of time.

Regardless, I wish that we all have somewhere to turn to when we need to, during this journey of rollercoaster emotions, and that we ALL get our BFPs quickly and with sticky beans and successful pregnancies, leading to happy healthy family lives. I would never wish anything other for anyone.

I assume you could guess what I thought about your chart (:j), but I don't want to put your hopes up in case I am wrong again:o

I've added you as my friends though:)

They are missed, but we don't know exactly who went over and who is just having a time out from this thread, so we mostly assumed all who are missing went over to GGs and are having a ball:o

I suppose they wouldn't like to post here from time to time to update us?

Have you done any more tests emsbet? Not that I'm obsessed or anything. lol!!!

No not taken anymore. Bought a extra digi yesterday (they are on sale at tesco at the moment btw girlies- only a couple of pounds off but if you want one asap it's quite good) which I'm going to maybe use in the morning before calling the doctors. Just keeping an eye on the spotting today.

  • Hi All,

The recent upset has been because some people have been noticed missing and not others - GG and Phunkles felt the need to point out how many had left and how many hadn't been missed.

I agree with a few others that have posted to say the ttc is very stressful. I personally feel gg's thread has reduced the stress for me but I did start here first and picked up some very good help so I am going to note a few down in hope they will help someone!!

**NHS says to have BD every OTHER day so the swimmers can build up energy (I am not saying that having sex every day won't work - but this is what the NHS recommend to get pregnant - which I know is easier said than done!!).

**Secondly for newly pregnant ladies that don't really know what happens next - My GP wasn't even interested and told me to make an appointment with the midwife who I am told will take my blood and a pee sample as well as make my scan appointment ... So whilst it is brilliant that you get a BFP ... you then stick in limbo for a while with nothing much going on (another pregnant lady advised me this and it has been quite helpful knowing what to expect!)

Good Luck on your ttc journey.

Thanks for adding me as friends on FF, tbh I only joined cos everyone else seemed to be temping (not that I'm easily led or anything :rotfl:) I keep looking at the chart but not really sure what all the spikes mean and I've not had chance to go through the tutorial :o

It's quite amazing all the different temps at different times of your cycle, I never even knew about things like this till I joined you girls :o

I've still not started using my CBFM for reasons I can't quite remember  (hols and stuff have used up all my brain cells) but I will try and get into it from the next cycle I promise :D

I'm probably due AF Friday or Saturday but I'm sure I'll be testing before that date, patience is not one of my virtues :D

(Ignoring all of the other stuff posted ........) To the ladies that mentioned mc, I truly am sorry that anyone had to go through this.

Keza - woop woop! Sure hope it turns into a HUGE BFP!! :D:D

Also, a quick note that there is a thread for TTC +12 months, if anyone feels they need more support. I didn't know it was there myself until a week or two ago...... :)

Thanks QQ. I've read lots about spotting over the last day or so and know that it's likely normal but I'm a worrier by nature :o
Going to try see GP tomorrow to put my mind at rest.

Hope you had a nice day out yesterday :)

    xx

Hello, hope you all don't mind me dropping in. Just to say emsbet that I've had brown spotting off and on from about 3 weeks (before I had my BFP) to now (8 +3). Though it's been more off than on since 5 weeks. I saw the doc after my BFP and said it could be nothing or it could be something but to sit tight and hope for the best :o. If it got worse when I was 6 weeks + then I could contact the mw and they'd maybe send me for an early scan. It hasn't got worse and has eased off to almost nothing so I've taken that as a good sign and just tried to get on with it for now. I've got my first mw appointment on Tuesday and will maybe ask for an early scan. From the research I've done most people who have spotting and even light bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have perfectly healthy babies so am trying to stay positive. Good luck, feel free to pm me if you need to x ETA open invite to anyone else to pm me if they want, I'm not posting regularly on any other threads at the mo.

To everyone else, this thread can be a wonderful place for support and advice. You've all got the same goal and bfp's aren't rationed xxx
