Thank you Mishka. I'm trying my hardest not to stress and just wait and see what to doctor says. :o I guess there's no point worrying because there's nothing I can do if little bean can't stay sticky. I'm just trying to send it some positive vibes :o

This thread is full of lovely supportive women please don't let it descend into bickering again. TTC is a very rocky road and everyone has their own emotions and problems to deal with and everyone has a right to those feeling regardless of how long their journey has been. I hope that each and everyone of you gets your BFP very soon as you are all wonderful ladies.

    xx

I'm a newbie here (but a long time user of forums) and pretty disgusted at the way some of the women have been behaving on here. We all know that there is a lot of emotion involved in TTC, but there is so much chidlishness and bitterness, it's really repulsive.

THIS is the very nature of forums, anybody who posts on one, knows this! You may post and be ignored, it may be clickey, you may not feel welcome, newbies may come in and annoy you, you may fall out with people, you may fall in love with another user, you may hate this place, you may love this place, someon will say something that really annoys you.... It's just the way it goes!

If you dont like, like I may not (am undecided at the moment), I shall just pick up and go to one of the other ten thousand BILLION TTC forums out there!

Draw a line under it LADIES. We're grown ups, we're all - on this thread - in the same boat - regardless of how long we he have been trying. How can you TTC and make it as warm and wonderful experience as it should be, when you are nitpitting and b*tching on a forum.

NOW get back to babymaking you lot.

Can I have a June prediction please? I'm going for a huge and very positive 12 please - wouldn't it be fantastic for 12 of the posters on here to get the result they're praying for!

Made my chart now I have a themometer, bit worried my temps seem to be all over the place, if you could add it to the sticky list QQ I would really appreciate it x

Thanks for the medicash post, have decided to join as I wear contact lenses and glasses, and always seem to need a filling (apparently overbrushing is almost as bad as under!) so even ignoring the maternity payment it should cover me and then some, but if it does take us a little longer to conceive it would be fab to get £750 when a LO arrives to help with a bit of extra time off etc. I went through Martin's guide and it definately seems to offer the best payout levels for me, but thats mostly down to spending nearly £500 a year on contacts!

I can’t always read back when I’m away for a few days so I know the thread moves quickly enough for things to be missed, but like a few other newer posters I have felt that I shouldn’t be posting until we’ve been trying a few months, getting my TTC stripes, but it’s such an exciting and scary time when you first make the decision to try I feel like I need the support network now too. I can understand why if you’ve been trying for a while and its not working seeing women fall pregnant only a few months or weeks after joining can hurt, but its not personal. If I hadn't had this thread I wouldn't have a clue what my fertile signs were, and I'd spend a fortune down Mr Ts on fancy tests which were never going to get 2 lines as we didn't DTD at the right time!

Mostly I inhabit the DFW boards on my main account, and I do find things are a lot more emotional and feelings more easily dented over here, but also there are posters who are so genuinely happy when others get their BFP, and who take so much time to answer others queries and help them out, and it is heart-warming to see that kind of humanity. I also follow Memorygirl's matrix because it is such a friendly, positive place, and it has really made me believe in a positive attitude bringing in positive results and the like, anyone struggling to see the wood for the trees might find their day lifted a little if they pop over and see what the lovely ladies over there have to say.

Well I hope I get pregnant 1st time next month so I can vacate this thread ... and to peeee off some people. I was sensitive over issues now I don't give a damn. Respect was given ~ Respect is not being shown to come back so whatever. Not that I can control whether I get preg quick or not I guess anyway! LOL.

Nasty piece of work!! I hope it takes you years love!!

I have so far tried to stay out of this but im sick of sitting on the fence. Insensitive people caused the original upset and i am also one of the posters that have moved over to ggs forum and i dont regret it for one single minute, i felt i often got ignored and sidelined. My own BFP was actually on the week the newbie war kicked off so even that was not acknowledged by many and a certain amount of my excitement was peed on. I unfortunately went on to lose my lil bean as it wasnt quite strong enough so am back TTC again now and i have and am still getting the support and kindness needed to get me through such a tough time on GGs forum which is full of lovely ladies who care about other peoples feelings.

This thread used to be a great place to be, i was only here from november last year but picked up quite a bit of useful ttc information and support (from some) which i will not forget but a few people on here need to take a look at themselves and think before you speak!

For everyone else - PACK IT IN!!!!

I saw the last argument which was not very nice, drove many people away and left the remaining feeling uneasy.

I feel that GG and Phunkles posted last night purely to be provocative and start another argument. It was not necessary and congratulations ladies you were successful.

Now I for one am truly sorry that you felt you had to start a new forum and am also sorry that another 24 (hope that's right from memory) ladies felt they had to move to your forum too. But it happened. I'm sure you're all very happy and content over at your new forum which I'm very pleased about. With the exception of posting about the recent promotion (thank you very much for that) your few other posts seem to be sly little digs.

Now of course this is an open forum and anyone can post but some people need to remember the saying "if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". And that last bit is aimed at everyone - GG/phunkles please don't think I'm singling you out on this.
