Hello, hope you all don't mind me dropping in. Just to say emsbet that I've had brown spotting off and on from about 3 weeks (before I had my BFP) to now (8 +3). Though it's been more off than on since 5 weeks. I saw the doc after my BFP and said it could be nothing or it could be something but to sit tight and hope for the best :o. If it got worse when I was 6 weeks + then I could contact the mw and they'd maybe send me for an early scan. It hasn't got worse and has eased off to almost nothing so I've taken that as a good sign and just tried to get on with it for now. I've got my first mw appointment on Tuesday and will maybe ask for an early scan. From the research I've done most people who have spotting and even light bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have perfectly healthy babies so am trying to stay positive. Good luck, feel free to pm me if you need to x

my mc started with brown spotting so rest up as much as you can if you are experiencing this, it could very well be nothing and i hope you go on to have healthy pregnancys but do take care of yourselves

Good advice, thank-you. And so sorry for your loss. And that goes to everyone who has been through this. I'm only 5 weeks right now and very scared that something could go wrong, especially after gp said it was common to mc in the first 12 weeks. It's a long wait till that first scan :(
    Just praying everything is ok.

I O'd today, so we sorta "BD'd" - Im officially in the 2ww.

Now my question is this - how soon after you Ovulate, is you period expected to start / when do you test? Last month I tested at about 10dpo, and then didnt test again until AF arrived, as I just expected her too.............

Although some tests can pick up a BFP at 10DPO you're probably best to wait until AF is due to arrive (usually around 14DPO).

Well I hope I get pregnant 1st time next month so I can vacate this thread ... and to peeee off some people. I was sensitive over issues now I don't give a damn. Respect was given ~ Respect is not being shown to come back so whatever. Not that I can control whether I get preg quick or not I guess anyway! LOL.

That is a truly disgusting and b!tchy comment to make on this thread!

I'm surprised that none of the current regular posters on this thread have commented on this, yet some have posted to say they think GG and Phunkles were posting to be b!tchy!!!

It is only the older posters on this thread who no longer post that have commented, and yet some say that they wish these old timers would come back even if just to update. Why would they want to with comments like that?

Some people seem to forget that it is those old timers who have passed on their ttc knowledge and experience that you are all now taking advantage of, not the people who got pg in the first month or 3 of trying.

Big Zippy I know you posted a few days ago asking how my first tri was going and I didn't reply yet, but thanks for asking. Things are going well so far although the nausea is horrible. Had 12 week scan and just wishing my days away until due date.

sorry really couldn't leave this. Sums up exactly why I left because people like you and this. I wouldn't want to wish the two years of ttc i have suffered through on anyone or the two babies I have lost in the process.

i had started to bow out of this thread before the arguing because it wasn't the place for me any more. yes there is the 12 month plus but it is heavily aimed at medical interventions and I still have another six months before that. so its not always the place to be.

how the hell you think respect is being given and post things like this is beyond me. I have moved over to GG and Phunkles site purely because it gives me the support i need. it was upsetting when some of us who had been fairly regular posters disappeared off the face of the earth and it almost felt like it was liked.

i did learn alot from this thread and I am greatful for that and I had been lurking ready to post if i felt i wanted to again. however this is now goodbye from me, this is not the place i joined six months ago and i no longer wish to be part of it.

QQ please remove me from all lists now.

Good luck and I hope that strong healthy BFP's appear soon.

Good evening ladies - hope you all had a good weekend.

I am hoping that emsbet may be right and that AF may not be far away as I have had EWCM this weekend (sorry if TMI :D).

Not sure what the majority of posts have been about this weekend so not going to comment

I see on the main list I am at the top of it - QQ I am CD63 according to FF - not that one day makes much difference - hope no one overtakes me dont want us all with silly long cycles :rotfl:

congrats on any BFP I may have missed and hope you got a sticky bean emsbet :)

Oh yes forgot to say I ordered a BBT from amazon and got 10 free OPK and tests....not quite sure what to do with the OPK sticks tho...think I need to read up on this. Prob best waiting until my second cycle I guess xxxx

Hi, I am new to this but I think the best way would be to get a thermometer that is digital to 2 decimal points. Then if you register with Fertility Friends and start from the first day of next cycle it will record it all for you and do it automatically. I think you have to take your temp first thing when you wake, without moving, same time of the day and after at least 3 hours undisturbed sleep. You put it under your tongue on the same side and the one i have just brought beeps when its done!

Hope I have all this right - if not someone please correct me!! :D
