Felt I couldn't just read and not add my thoughts.
I am one of those lucky few that's absence has been noticed, although not for long.....
Maybe it was just bad luck that there were an influx of newbies with bfps, but itseemed that a large amount of the long term posters felt pushed out and ignored. I personally didn't post here until I had been trying for a few months, but oonly because I hadn't found mse before then.
One of the last posts I made was a pretty emotional one about the fact I was going to have to stop ttc and I was even more upset that myself post was as good as ignored by all but a couple.
So yes, I do occasionally lurk and read what's going on in here, but I too am getting the support I need elsewhere.
And for anyone that cares - I did not get my bfp and am no longer ttc.

Thanks. That's what I've been reading but worrying is in my nature :o Spent way too much of my time on google yesterday as DH was asleep most of the day because he's not very well. He made me put the laptop away after I posted last night - he's the calm one ;) - a told me to be happy and stop worrying :o

Anyway I'm waffling now. I think I should go into lurk mode for a while as I probably shouldn't still be hanging around here just don't feel ready to go to the <12 weeks yet.

    xx

Its natural to worry...just have to try and keep PMA and make yourself stop. (Easier said than done!).
If you're not ready for >12 yet, and want someone to ping with thoughts or qu's. feel free to PM me.

So sorry to hear that MrsVicx. I'm sure loads of people do care. I'm a lurker on all these threads and haven't posted before - and I care enough to come out of the lurky shadows to say so! Hope you're ok.

Emsbet - I'm kinda floating between the 2 threads :rotfl:

Must be hard not to worry. I know it's not uncommon to have some bleeding, so at least know that you're not in the minority. When are you off to see the gp?

Hi charlie.....is this your first AF since coming off the pill? Just interested as I am still waiting for mine to arrive on cd62!! :D

Hi littleme82- No it isn't. I came off the pill last September and had a normal bleed straight after. I had another at about CD55ish I think and my last was at CD90! I really wasn't expecting to go past that agin but this cycle has been 115 :o

My doctor thinks it's because of my low BMI but I am having a scan Tuesday to check my ovaries.

Have you been on the pill long? I know it can take people a while for their cycles to regulate after coming off the pill. Mine were erratic before so i'm sure something isn't right! Just thinking, have you tested?

I really don't like all this bickering on the thread. Really puts me off wanting to post as I know I haven't been trying as long as some people and I am aware of that.

I would agree with Bigzippy as I honestly can't remember everyone on this thead. I also gets several days where I can't read it and struggle catching up so have to miss pages. I don't think anyone would intentially ignore someone.

I have been with my partner for 8+ years now. I always wanted to be a young mum so we talked about children really early on. Since then we kept putting it off because we wanted to be better off financially and own our own home. We finally decided last year it was the right time. I feel like i've been waiting for this for 6yrs. Just because we haven't been trying that long doesn't make me want it any less. Newbies don't mean to just come on here and if they are lucky enough to get a BFP right away brag about it. It's just exciting for them. I know when I first posted I thought it would just happen straight away and you don't understand when it doesn't. I feel like I was really niave (sp?) to begin with and I've learn't so much from this thread. TTC really does mess with your emotions.

    Just my thoughts anyway :o

Well I hope I get pregnant 1st time next month so I can vacate this thread ... and to peeee off some people. I was sensitive over issues now I don't give a damn. Respect was given ~ Respect is not being shown to come back so whatever. Not that I can control whether I get preg quick or not I guess anyway! LOL.

the title of the thread is "trying for a baby" - there are no limitations to have long for or if you have a child already. Its supposed to be a way for us ALL to get support and find ways to save money whilst trying :money: I too hate the bickering which yet again has started from nothing !

I personally tend to only respond to the last few posters as the thread can move so quickly it would be dragging up old topics, so if you are an infrequent poster it may seem you never get a response whilst others are always mentioned. Thats the way of the forum unfortunately !

PS emsbet - hope you ok today :) dont stress too much !

I had been looking out for you recently. Looked at you FF chart and been willing you along. Sorry it hasn't worked for you. Good luck what you decide to do next. The hard bit now is coming to terms with it :( Well done on getting better support elsewhere thats fab. I have to say i'm not the most supportive in terms on posting for others rather than for my self so I will take that away from this situation and try to look out for people more. Thank you.
