    :wave::wave:Hi Everyone,

I hope you don't mind me joining you. I have been lurking for a little while.....

I'm 31 and haven't got a clue about my cycle etc. I have a 7 year old DS and had one MC. I haven't been actively TTC but haven't been preventing it IYSWIM.

Anyway, I think AF is due next week, but have had brown spotting (hardly anything) for a few days. Could this be early AF? Implantation bleeding?? How soon should I test? Am going a bit mad looking on the internet all the time for info.

Hugs to all that need them.

Hi all :) Im now on cd15 - according to my android app I should be ovulating tomorrow and for the first time in months Im currently symptom free :j which makes me kinda happy as ive been getting severe cramps for a week before and after  however of course im now paranoid im not ovulating :rotfl:

lazarou-true, welcome to the thread !

No advice i can give you - apart from try not to symptom check too much, as in all reality it *could* be either ;)

Thank you Mishka, I know that it could be either. I do this every month (convince myself of symptoms) but this time it really does seem different, without going into detail, it's not like AF.

Oh well, apparently patience is a virtue.

    ... and Mishka - get BD'ing anyway!!

I heard I'd had a mention. I am as OK as I can be and post elsewhere now.

Really? Never had one of those:cool:
What kind of an accident was it? Where you OK?
Yeah, but it took 3 months before I could walk again :o (Good job it was the last day of my honeymoon!) I have hypermobility, so when I went over on my ankle (on stone staircase in castle ruins, as you do:cool:) my foot went 180 degrees near enough, causing excrutiating pain. I just lay there in agony (and I've felt pain before, but flip!) on the cold stone floor, quietly going into shock, while a nurse and a midwife(:roftl:) looked after me (they happened to be customers in the coffee shop at the time) til the ambos came. The midwife had me "breathing through the pain" and I just felt like screaming at her "I'm NOT HAVING A BABY!" :rotfl: She was lovely though. And I can see why they use gas&air for labour, cos it made my belly far number than anywhere else :)
    It's a BFP!:j

I don't know how you could be so patient at a time like this:shocked:
    I'd try a digi with tomorrow's FMU:cool:

    Well....
I did another first response and although there is a line it's barely visible and fainter than last night. I also had quite a big blob of old blood this morning so I thought it was bad news but decided to take a digi and it says pregnant 1-2 weeks! :o

Haven't told DH yet because he's still asleep. Wondering whether or not to do another one first.

Done some more tests. Two first responses two unbelievably faint lines (fainter than yesterday) and two digis both saying pregnant 1-2 weeks! I'm going with the digis although I'm not sure why the first response is so faint when that is supposed to be very sensitive!
    Best go wake DH :)

The gp said to keep my appointment at the fertility clinic anyway. As I have low pregesterone, that can increase the chance of mc, so I guess they can help me with that (I Hope :o). I'm not stressing over possible mc, but I'm also not quite believing the BFP yet. Is that weird?
Hoping they'll put your mind at ease one way or the other :) And no, it's not weird, from what I hear/imagine anyway :)
I had some more pink last night and very slightly again earlier. I put off starting the tablets again incase and i can officially say CD1 now :D..wahoo!!

So glad it's arrived, I can start the tablets properly now on CD5 after AF :j
    :T Wooooooooo!!! :D Finally, eh? :)

    Welcome :D
I wouldn't test til AF is due. As emsbet has just proven, you can be preg but test too early and you'll still get a BFN.;)

Thanks. Still not got very excited because I've had some brown spotting on and off today. I'm hoping it's just breakthrough bleeding from my body thinking I should have been having AF :o

I think the general consensus is that if it's brown it's old blood and not really to be worried about (tho I understand that's easier said than done). It's more worrying if it's red and/or full flow (but my sis still had fairly heavy bleeding in pregnancy and my 13yo nephew was fine :)
