I don't know what my yet to be born daughter will be like but my son is really tidy, I went into his room the other day and he had opened his curtains and even used the tie backs....I blame it on the OCD tidy husband I have.
Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY
  • It's your house, you've worked hard and sacrificed a lot over the years so the answer is simple - Get Naked!! Even the threat of this should send your daughter racing round with the hoover, duster etc. Our 17 year olds face is a picture when we threaten it, so far he hasn't called our bluff!!

Think you'll find that some girls can be really organised and tidy (note: note me though) and some boys can be very messy...and vice versa of course.

Depends on the personality of the individual concerned. My 2 year old nephew for example insists on doors being closed and will happily help people to do things....but when we come to his stuff its a case of 'plough the fields and scatter'.

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.

are you meaning my daughter is going to be a stroppy little cow???? I can imagine that she might be, I am quite fiesty so it's going to be nuclear! It's her Dad that is Mr Mellow!(not when it comes to tidyness I hasten to add...imagine a crumb falling to the floor, I estimate 4.2 seconds before he picks it up)

  • just a min, im 23, have lived on my own for nearly 3 years and am very houseproud! huh!

With the age thing I meant that that age group are not in a position to be independantand set their own house rules. You may have always beeen tidy - some people never are.
