Great news on the house. The one you've found sounds brilliant too so fingers crossed that it looks as good in the flesh.

Don't let the double toilet cleaning put you off - you could always delegate the chore to one of the boys!

Great news on the house, hope this one is still available for you. A downstairs loo only takes about two mins to clean!

I'm sure the downstairs loo would be a great advantage if you were to do childminding. Sounds really good to me, and you seem happier.:D

Thanks everyone. I'm really pleased. The house is available, we're viewing it at Friday dinner. It's a big house and could be really nice, it is nice ..just not my taste but its ready to move into decor wise and that's what matters. like I said this is the sensible option of house not the one I truly want but this one is growing on me. Its only 3 bedrooms still but lots more space. From around July ish this year we will only have 4 children at home anyway so that , to us, will be like living in a mansion. There is already a ground floor extension in place so if we decided to stay around in 5 years or so we could put another extension on top of the existing one and get another bedroom and en suite that way.

I need to find out now what the difference is in the H/F surveyors that go around to value as there are 3 different types of surveys, ranging in price.

    It's all systems go now!

DH has his interview today so wish him luck. I've just made him HM pepperoni and sundried tomato pizza but he couldn't eat it all. He's got butterflys!
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Hope DH's interview went well today. When we bought this house we were already with Halifax for our existing mortgage and after paying for the survey £399, they refunded it which was a nice surprise! Hope you enjoy the viewing, it's very exciting.
