    Thankyou all.

Thanks Newgirly. I'm hoping for more than 3 hours inbetween feeds tonight - when we get to 4 hourly I'll be happier. He's just had a feed and all full and content so we're off to bed now.

Just been catching up...with a few diaries which has been lovely to read how much has been going on in other peoples lives. I feel like I've been away for ages! It's really nice to read them and I feel like I know so much about the people on here. It's a little community.

We're been going out for the day here and there whilst OH is off work and people seem amazed that I'm out and about with a 6 day old baby. Why? Did you expect me to sit at home with my feet up? Hardly likely !! No time for that! We had a funny little moment today when we were out at a furniture shop with DD and Baby Blue and the shop assistant said "You've got your hands full" ..OH who by now had heard this from 4 other people in the last hour (yes really ) said "we have another 4 at home" to which she replied "yeah right" and walked off! :rotfl: She didnt believe us. Like we would lie about it! Some people *Rolley eye man*

Right bed time for us now

    Take care

Iris and a very tired baby blue

I just cannot imagine how busy your life must be! But I guess as they get older they 'should' be helping out more and more independant.
Glad you are still keeping up with it all. I dont have a newborn and still dont really get time to read everyones diaries!

Iris - they probably think you look to sane to have 6 kids. When DD2 was born on a Friday evening but had been in for 5 days before that fr 'monitoring', I got out of hospital on the sunday afternoon, got home to discover that in the 8 days I had been AWOL OH had done no shopping, had lived on kebabs, pizzas and chippies and we didn't even have milk or teabags. DD1 was returning the next day from my MIL so Monday morning at 7:30 I was scootig about tesco with a small person in a car seat. People look at you like you have 2 heads

Great OP's for this month, achieving that with a newborn is fab!

I did giggle at the 'we have another 4 at home' comment! Don't people often state the obvious!

Pammy - Seeing as the older 4 are lads they help out as lads do ...reluctantly and half a job but at least it's helping. DS4 (11) is a real help and often volunteers to make all the sandwiches for school / college , something I hate doing! When I can be bothered I scribble their names down and write next to it what I want doing. If you don't ask you don't get.:)

LP - And to think that they use to keep us women in hospital for days and days when they had given birth years ago...Bet the women loved it at the time until they got home! :)

Thanks Cath- It's going to be a poor OP month with buying all the DIY things last month and a few bits here and there. I think I'll be about £400 under what I whated to OP this month but we'll see :)

Froggy - I make lists for everything and my phone is my organiser!

...a trip to the Trafford Centre today didnt help. I really need new clothes now after being pregnant for 2 years and I've decided to buy some nice pieces for my wardrobe as I need a good base of quality things. :) Soooo I started in Monsoon and bought a gorgeous silver beaded top £75 which you can dress up or down. I'm lucky that DH lets me buy whatever I want ..I still feel a little guilty though but now enough not to buy it!)

I have the headache from h3ll today and its quite unbearable. I think its because im run down as I'm doing all the night feeds (my choice) as if OH did them Im sure he'd wake DD up who's also in the same room as us. As football is on at the moment Im going to now have a soak and try and get a early night before it all starts again...I wouldnt have it any other way though as I have baby blue all to myself in the middle of the night. I cant stop kissing him even then

    Night night all

Night night Iris, sweet dreams :p
Please pass on our regards to Mr Rocco when he wakes up later on...

Trafford Centre is a killer.. I hate it with all my heart... If OH manages to get me there, we ahve to deal with my purchases first, then she gives me some money to go and get myself a coffee in Starbucks to read the paper in peace, so I am not "MOANING" about her going into every single shop to browse..

Hope the headache disappears very soon..

You are doing a GREAT job! You should be very proud of yourself!
