Yes, it is a mssive tree (very very large, as stated in my first post).
The installer was Sky's own and not a subcontractor. He had all Sky's uniform and his van was also had Sky's graphics.
Has anyone had any experience of dispute with an organisation where you had to go to court? What are the procedures and fees involved in the unlike event that you lost your case?0 -
No way can one tree block line of site from a whole house to a point in the sky..... not possible.
We needs pics OP, pics I say!!!!!0 -
as regards whether the installer should have known that leaves would get in the way--its a no brainer, of course he should.0

of course its possible, the higher the tree, the less chance the OP has of obtaining the signal, the installer has not done is job correctly, for whatever reason0 -
anyway, if the OP goes to dishpointer.com he will be able to see if its possible to recieve sky at his address, sky is broadcast at 28 degrees east, and the the satellite is called astra20

Surely the website won't take account of trees in the OP's garden! Thats very accuate if it can do that! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

OP, is there anywhere at all that you can have the dish positioned where it wont be pointing directly at the tree?0 -
My mate Dave will come round with his chainsaw and cut the tree down for £60 +VAT0

Thanks to you as well.
Have you actually got this statement in writing because without it you have no basis for your arguement as even yourself say Sky are not mentioning it in their contact with yourselfThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
