 Hi, just wanted to see how you all are.

I thought I might have seen a flylady in the news tonight as they had a lady called Joanne Hall in an item about weight loss surgery and I have a feeling one of our ladies called Jo had a gastric band didn't she? Are they the same person or am I imagining things?

Love to Lady Liberty, Pigpen, Jo, Boddy, and Carol and of course everyone else!

Well despite the fact that I was in hospital yesterday I feel as fit as a fiddle and today I have

put DW (which has been condemned boo hoo) in the garage ready to take to the tip
moved WM out and cleaned behind it
    mopped kitchen floor
    clean oven-doors are sparkly
moved out oven and cleaned walls, floor etc
WM x3 pegged out, brought back in and finishing in TD (it has gone awfully black out side here in the Midlands)
    cleaned work surfaces in kitchen
    emptied shredder into compost bin

    and now I am knackered!!!

Off to watch some tv with my feet up
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

No, not kicked it, been in bed all day apart from cleaning the kitchen. I've got to get better by tomorrow so I can go to a craft fair. But not sure I'm going to make it at the moment
I hope you enjoy the weekend, despite not having all the kids with you! Your darling baby sounds adorable!

    WooHoo kitchen all done. :j:j:j

Rhys to get feed now and then bed for him. Rest can get supper and play for awhile in their rooms. :D

Need to get hubby's clothes sorted, bring in the washing (i think it is finally dry) and then make a start on another room.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

*Boots Roundtuit's BD solidly up the bum* Hoppy Bird-day for whenever it is - all I can gather is it's before Thursday *confused*. You're about 4 months behind me, then.

    :wave:Rosepink I wondered where you were hiding.:D

Town was a nightmare; I left Mr LW in the opticians and self-propelled the wheelchair to get the other stuff done. Honestly, words fail me; the amount of people to whom a wheelchair user seems to be invisible is amazing. I was "walked down" loads of times, and the ones that did actually acknowledge that I existed looked at me like I shouldn't be allowed out in public. Anyways..... we achieved all that we went out for, thankfully.

Mr LW is currently doing his WiiFit, and I'm trying to decide if I can be @rsed with a trip to the pub tonight. Not looking likely, but when Mr LW suggested it last night, I said, "nah, cba" or words to that effect, so I can't really do that two nights running.

Gosh that is hanging on!! You must be really fed up by now!

I am dreading the weekend.. it has all been planned for us and I hate having to be certain places by certain times I am much more of a 'let's do this/spur of the moment' type gal.. i am looking forward to seeing OH's friend and his family tomorrow but the rest I am thinking will be a bit like hard work.. I find OH's family incredibly tiring and difficult.. they are very different to my family and it could just be that.

I can manage 4 days without the children so 7 won't be much worse I hope! I am just going to do lots of tidying and flinging if the baby will allow it.. she has been wonderful and well behaved today!

Right.. I must go collect these bags from my mothers..

OH is very happy with his new trainers so I have at least got one thing right today :D

    Evening all

Finally got the floors hoovered and mopped.

Going to tidy up from dinner and then find my packing list.

    Hya all again,
Thanks for the words of encouragement - it made a great difference.
I have just de-cluttered a big cupboard, throwing out a bag of rubbish and one of re-cycling. Have been able to move things from the kitchen work surface into cupboard:)
Also managed another bag of recycling (books and clothes) from the hoped for sewing area. Getting baby steps closer:)
Happy birthday when you get there roundtuit and congrats to your DS - the boy done well:)
I am trying to lay down the law to DD2 but I think she takes after her mother and her father. But I am showing her that mother is trying to change, just got a long way to go!!
Anyhow, good wishes to all on the thread and thanks again, the magic is surely working x x

Yeah, it's been over two weeks now Pigpen! Annoying and frustrating! I've rearranged going to see my Mum four times as I can't go while I'm ill in case she catches it. We are now aiming for next week now!
Sorry to hear it's so stressful visiting OH's family, it is hard to fit in to a different family and learn all thier ways of doing things and ways of talking to each other. The more you go, hopefully it will get easier as you will all adjust to each other!
