Good to see you posting Rose but the wrong Joanne I think.

Today I have been to work, out the DW and WM on, cleaned the hens out, found 8 eggs in the border, cooked dinner, put the boys to bed and collapsed in an exhausted pile.

I also talked to a sensible CSA person which surely involves two mutually excusive concepts?

We're back home and mount washmore is being conquered. Managed to get the cold DS2 picked up while we were away so I was actually pleased to come home, barking cough I just want to curl up and sleep :o not in much of a holiday mood.

Pigpen hope you survive the trip to the wild wild west to see the outlaws because that is what they sound like lol. DPs Dad and Step Mam, for all I quite like them, are the we've planned x, y and z for us all to do or ok we'll do that with you people as we found out in Spain last year.....we escaped all of once! They've offered us to go again next year but I am in 2 minds lol. I am sure the 7 days without the kiddywinks will fly over.
Dusty I am sure you are much more organised than you make out
rosepink hope you feel better soon
Crafty hope you get it sorted soon, I hate anything being 'wrong' with the house, it makes me worry none stop and we don't even own it so I know how stressful that is, must be worse for you.

Well the house is the poo hole I left it, regardless of DPs empty promises to sort it while he was home but went out helping others instead. Then I've added bags of caravan gibble to it. Big messy piles to deal with, oh dear. We're not using the caravan again this year, well not planning to/anyone else to so need to do a lot of winter prep stuff, every cupboard has been emptied and everything just about brought home to be cleaned. Going to see if I can get the boys into a couple of activities next week so I can get it done and back up there.

We've had a 'financial slog it out' over the last 12 hours or so, not that I was in the mood to and I don't think we're going to France :( it's unfortunate as we won the accomodation but we just haven't got the money especially waiting for DP to be paid off last job and then the working month in hand with the new one. A shame if we can't, need to make definate decision tomorrow if we can borrow cash (which I don't really want to do) or are not going. It's going to cost us more than a package holiday just in travel due to where it is.......which is a bit bonkers.

Ok I'm feeling grotty and need to clear my bed before I can sleep in it (clean laundry) so will offer (((hugs))) all round and pop off xxxx ***will be back if I can't sleep***
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi all, sorry in lurkdum due to back still but wanted to say well done to all the DDs and DSs with great exam results...DS1 did not do well at all but we knew he wouldnt he isnt at all academic...BUT he passed his college exam so is now on the full time course:j:j

DD2 was also accepted onto the business studies one she applied for...hope she sticks it as she wanted a retail course but this is the only one they do now:mad: and theres a lot of business law involved which isnt really what she wants

Have also sorted out child benefit..who sorted out tax credits for me as I couldnt get through (I had been trying all day)..and DS1s EMA has been posted.

DS2 has new shoes for school and stationary...went through his uniform and was thrilled as there is nothing he needs...that saved me a small fortune.

DS1 has his stationary...need to order his white overalls and polo shirt but should only be about £25.

Taking DD2 to town Monday...back permitting to get her a few new clothes for college...she had uniform last year...so wants some leggings and a couple of casual jumpers/sweatshirts.

Hope to be back to flying in the next week or so...house not too bad as DS1 is an angel...and have made the others help...much to their disgust haha xx

Love to all especially..Toots LadyL Diva and LW xxx

    Hya all,
    All good wishes to everyone.
Kept flying until 10 last night:) Told DH yesterday about the thread and how supportive it is. Read him Craftyscholar's comment.
DH started to help with the top shelf of the big cupboard and thought the re-organisation was really useful and so... started to help me with another bomb site:) We uncovered and cleaned the floor and walls and excavated the cupboard behind. We talked about changing things to stop it being a dumping ground. I am hoping he will carry on today:)
Sunny here atm so have wm on so will get it on the line before DGSs arrive.
Thanks and hugs if needed x

    Morning all

DSs and I are up and breakfasted. I'm not planning on going anywhere until this afternoon, so I should get plenty of jobs done. I'll start with WM (nice day here so far) and S&S in kitchen, then on with the decluttering I started yesterday.

Well done to Mr Marchio for getting involved.

Hope everyone has a good start to the weekend. x

    ETA HHC 9.15-9.45 anyone?

    I have definitely been flying!

to Budapest (mon) and back (Fri)

thought about you all (honest) not least because I saw a car reg and the letters were HEX

and there is a company called MSE

(clearly we can run but we can't hide)

am saving thread catch up for a treat, later, as it's the wedding today..

oh WM x2 on line and 3rd load in, now.
knicker shortage will be solved soon!

(Brought you all some sunshine - left Manchester in pouring rain, left Budapest in pouring rain!)

It actually STARTED raining in Budapest as I was on the steps about to board the plane - ace timing or what!

Budapest is a beautiful city by the way - well worth a visit!

oh - my stepdad (aka dad) is Hungarian so translated for us. Cue many amusing moments when he spoke to US in Hungarian and we hadn't a clue...
and, as I was on an errand in the city he advised me to 'act like a tourist and don't speak Hungarian' (in case I got into trouble, this was)
well I WAS a tourist and I CAN'T speak Hungarian! :rotfl:
    (I can say thanks though;))
