Yikes grafetful sounds like you need a holiday to get over your guests! Can you take it easy today?

I have a huge insect bite on my ankle that I have reacted to which is throbbing painfully so i won't be doing much today I think!

House needs hoovering upstairs and downstairs so I may manage that. Have also nearly run out of milk so may toddle down to the shop shortly (should probably get washed and dressed first! LOL)

The grass needs cutting but I really am NOT going to do that!!! Maybe tomorrow :D

    Small list
    shower and get dressed
    hoover upstairs and downstairs
    walk to shop for milk
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • The problem is we've just had our holiday!!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Hope you get a chance to chill for a bit today, grateful, and get back to earlier nights. Thanks for pointing out about Wallander - I've not missed many when they were on originally, but I'll have a look. I prefer the Swedish version, too, (don't even mind the subtitles) but my Swedish colleague like the other one better.

The HHC turned into two. WM emptied and re-loaded with bedding, towels pegged out, bathroom now has clean and tidy window sill, sink and tiles above sink. 2.5 hours work and you can hardly tell the difference. :(

Anyway, time to see to lunch and then I will declutter. Another HHC should see most of the clothes put away. See you all later. x

Thanks Toots I feel like a weight has been lifted and it also means that I may (fingers crossed) be able to take the kids away on holiday next year:D
Although I told me friend this and got up this morning to loads of emails of holiday cottages in cornwall so have rung her to say I was thinking more along the lines of a cheap sun holiday and somewere I can take the dog as well;)

Have spent most the morning on the phoe to the bank trying to sort out there error still all done now have also emptied DW, washing machine is on as DD1 has just dumped a pile of washing by the machine thats she needs doing before she goes away with her friend tomorrow.
DD2 Has decided she wants a bike for xmas so might take her to halfords this weekend as they have a sale on and I only need to pay a deposit there to secure it:D

Pigpen hope you have a good weekend away and that goes for anyone else who is away this weekend :D

I was shocked by the casual racism in the Swedish one 'til DH pointed out they had been written to flag up the racism in Sweden. Maybe that's why your colleagues like the Branagh one better?

    Hi all
Can anyone help me please? Does anyone know if there are any cutting down/stop smoking threads on here anywhere please? I have smoked 8 cigarettes in the last 5 days and have been doing ok - I'm using a nicorette inhalator and it's helped but suddenly this afternoon I want to scream, shout, cry - the works :( Quite honestly I could kill - I wouldn't of course but the stress level I feel is going through the roof! Hmm it probably doesn't help that it's that time of the month and that happened last night so feeling twice as irritable :( I hate feeling like this - normally feel a bubbly happy character :(:(
    Sorry for whining :(
