Glad you had a good time, valli, and thanks for the sunshine. (Even if there are quite a few clouds around, it's still nice for the moment.) Hope the wedding goes just as well.
My HHC took about 50 minutes, but the kitchen is S&Sed, DW emptied and re-loaded and a couple of things washed by hand/put away, washing pegged out and towels in, water filter emptied/cleaned/new filter put in and herbal tea made. I think that was it. I'm off for the next HHC, 10.15-10.45ish, making a start on beds.0 -
Kitchen completely done last night and still looking great today, long may it last.

Airport run done and kids all fed. I'm not sure which room will get done today but one will get done. :rotfl:

Hi rose, I hope you are feeling better soon.
You too Lil_me I hope your cough is better soon. If you can manage without all that laundry done, have a day resting as much as you can and see if that helps get rid off it. If your weather is anything like ours you won't be able to get it all dry today. It has started tipping down.
mummyof5 well done to your DD in getting into college. I hope she enjoys the course despite some bits of it not being what she wanted. Be careful with your back. Don't go overdoing it:) I am good at giving advice, not taking it
Hurt mine at the allotment last night. I just had to show DS2 how to hoe.
marchio, well done on getting DH helping, he sounds like he has really got into the swing of things.
Hi toots, I am still working on writing my lists. I need to get them finished and DSs into gear to help before they all disappear to uni etc. in September.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

We are back late Tuesday I think.. but it may be Wednesday.. not sure yet.
I doubt I'll get any flinging done at all.. but I may get bedding washed and replaced.

Well we started off with a lovely sunny day then the clouds started to roll in:(
Interesting - I went to my nearest shop for milk and rolls, their deliveries hadn't all come in so walked to one slightly further away. When I got back I compared the till receipt with old one from first shop.
Rolls (same brand) were 6p cheaper but milk was 5p dearer (insert shruggy shoulders)
OK decision time - do I finish off bits of list or do a proper sort out in the study/spare room?
Oops forgot my manners - hope those of you having one have a good Bank Holiday break.0 -
Another 45 minutes and beds are done (DS1 does his own). I've also hoovered the mattresses and what's visible of our bedroom floor. There must have been something else, as that can't really have taken so long...
Oh, have collected all laundry apart from DS1's and I tried to turn our mattress, but it's too heavy.
Just had a short break and mashed another cup of fruit tea, but WM is done and beeping at me, so I best get on with it. Dealing with laundry, then decluttering somewhere. Another HHC before lunch, I think, 11.30-12.0 -

Hi guys. Happy Bank Holidays!
Am totally knackered, being pg have been in bed at 9.30 all summer, friends to stay and staying up til 11.30 for three nights and constant catering and I'm done for, the house is covered in labrador hair from their doggy. The baby puked on the sofa.
valli so so jealous of you, but you deserve it.
rosepink so very nice to see you again.
There is Swedish Wallender on 9pm tonight bbc4, the proper one, none of the Kenneth Branagh nonsense. Yay!
Have to strip and remake about ten million beds today. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Morning...just:wave:
Thankyou for the early birthday wishes - I'll hit the BIG 5-0 on 1st September, which I also consider to be my New Year:beer:...I'm in a better frame of mind for resolutions in autumn than I am in winter!
I agree with your theory Serena - DS can't usually bear a flat horizontal surface remaining bare/empty for longer than 5 minutes. Instead of me tidying up behind him we have the reverse: he untidies behind me. But he seems to have seen me making an effort and decided to help - bless him. And you can still see the floor in his room!
Big smiles and hugs to all, especially JennyJewell, Serena, MrsChaos, LameWolf, Marchio and Toots and thankyou for positivity...is that a word? It is now.:)
Grand Prix qualifying is on tv soon - must get the washing out and feed the birds before it starts. I'm a petrolhead:o
happy flying one and all
