Well I'm on a roll now... Just catching my breath having done voluntary job; paid for holiday; shopped in lidl and Tesc Exp; done 2 x WM and pegged it out; fed myself and cats; cleaned conservatory windows (oh YES); been to canal boat trip place to pay deposit for trip on sunday with mum; dusted lounge PROPERLY; made 2 phone calls. Still lots to do, but it's looking manageable. Might even have time for a kip :-)

... so you'll be packing at silly o'clock minus one hour then?:p:DThankyou for being there ladies. I haven't got my brain round how this thread works its miracles. It is enough that it does.
roundtuit - I'm with you on that one! I have a sparkly clutter free worktop in the kitchen for the first time in months (possibly years...:o) Huge well done to your DS. I have a theory that kids (of all ages) suffer from huge insecurity if there is any floor visible...
I'm embarrassing DS2 by singing to and dancing to Enrique Iglesias.:DIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
The Employment Agency are now actively seeking alternative employment for me, as am I.
I can feel the black dog licking round my feet, but I'm using my coping strategies
He asked would I please tell 'my' flyladies that he's tidied his room. He has you know...he's found the floor!!!
Keeping fingers crossed for a new job with more hours soon, and well done for having strategies to deal with the BD.
Also well done to Master roundtuit. Maybe if I do more it will rub off on DS1.
Have managed to
[STRIKE]take DS2 into town for haircut[/STRIKE] and school shoes (old ones checked and they still fit)
call at charity shop and dump on the way
[STRIKE]talk to NN (back from holiday last night), as DS2 can't wait to play with his friend[/STRIKE] long conversation had and they are playing happily now
[STRIKE]check new costco offers (going on Monday, I think)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]bully DS1 into doing his paperround[/STRIKE] (started, about to nudge him in the direction of his trolley to finish off), 'cos it's his last time and the trolley should be collected soon (:j more clutter gone)0 -
After a few anxious hours money went into the bank at 2pm today - albeit £300 short, but at least we're not stuck for money over the long weekend. Now OH's car has broken down and he's being towed home from work. So we wont have a car over the long weekend and will be stuck in the house. No hair cut for me then
Never mind, at least the house is tidy... So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy
WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...0
