    So far have:

    Fed and dressed everyone
Cleaned and mopped bathroom - was disgusting, how can it get so bad in one week?
    Tidied DS1s room
    Sorted DS1s bookshelf
Sorted towels as they're kept on top of DS's wardrobe and it was a dumping ground
Sorted a load for the washing machine although it's not quite there yet

Going to do my kitchen dailies before lunch, and LR dailies later after I've sat down and done the menu plan and shopping list for the week - something I enjoy so it might relax me a bit, this money thing is stressing me out.

MrsChaos the bank has said providing the funds go in today they wont charge us the unplanned overdraft fee, but they can't give us an overdraft until then IYSWIM. And the funds should be cleared by now - OH is going to phone me shortly I hope. The whole thing has just been a major stress - I HATE things like this I'm such a finance-phobe. We're notoriously terrible with money, but lately have been so careful about not running out of money at the end of the month and making sure we have enough for essentials and emergencies, mainly due to me saying things can wait. If OH had his way he'd spend spend spend until we had to live on baked beans for half the month. I guess this isn't our fault, but I will be changing the date the rent goes out so it's a few days after payday from now on. The most annoying thing is that OH's boss was completely non-plussed and didn't care - until OH said he had no money for diesel to get into work...
The colic drops seem to have helped, thanks for asking. He was fairly well settled and slept from 7-2 last night, with a dream feed at 10, and then from 3-6ish this morning. Hopefully we can get him into a bit of a bedtime routine now, and get our evenings back!

Waiting nervously for a phone call now...
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...

    Afternoon all

I've just damp wiped the living room and computer desk, wiped down in the kitchen, and vacuumed right through downstairs today. Not enough washing for a load but there will be tomorrow with my work stuff etc.

    Hope everyone's OK.

Mr LW has been fed pasta with cheese sauce, so he's happy.:D And I spent a fun 10 minutes scrubbing the skanky compost caddy, which seemed to have developed a fur coat on the inside._pale_ Nice and clean now, though.

:hello:Afternon to all my flylady friends!!

The ground floor is spotless and decluttered.:D

The upstairs though is another matter....:eek: as that is where I dumped all the stuff I wanted to hide from friend coming over for coffee - (DS1's headteacher) - don't want him thinking I'm a total shambles! Even though the year DS1 was ill, he saw me twice immediately after a twelve hour flight!

The weather here is really horrible -it's chilly and raining. I've no excuse not to get all the shifted bags sorted - except the stuff belonging to the boys which I've put in their room for them to do.

Actually, I have done petty well this week - I only have the bathroom left to do, and that could wait until tomorrow. I want the decluttering done before the dreaded start of term. I have two more things being collected by freecyclers this afternoon/evening - one of which is actually in the top of the garage roof, so I shall delegate that to my tall and energetic 16 year old(he's recovered from his over indulgence...)

Love and hugs, especially for toots, lady-liberty, and diva, but plenty spare for anyone else who'd like one!

    dusty - PACK!!!:p:D

Lunch on, appointment didn't go to plan so has been set up for another day. :(

My summer's day has left and been replaced with lots of rain. Washing line full to.

After lunch i'm gonna get the kitchen all sorted, every inch shall be cleaned. Might even make the kids help. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hello:wave:

    I finished work at 5pm on Wednesday and I don't go back til 9am Thursday:)....by which time I'll be 50 years old!

The Employment Agency are now actively seeking alternative employment for me, as am I. In the meantime I'll take the 19 hours a week on offer and plod on until something comes up.

I can feel the black dog licking round my feet, but I'm using my coping strategies - one of which is to keep busy and push through the cba....because I know I'll feel better if I do.

I decluttered my DS to the railway station at 9am and he's gone to Hell for the day with his college pals. He asked would I please tell 'my' flyladies that he's tidied his room. He has you know...he's found the floor!!! there's a carpet in there....it's blue. ;)

    As for me today I've:

    made my bed
    WM x 1
    delivered my church magazines
had a coffee with my DOD and DOM
had a coffee with my 88 year old godmother
had a coffee with my DB - who brought me a bunch of flowers and a card 'cause he's goin to be away for my birthday. Awwww. I gave him a hug - first time ever....and.... he hugged me back.:T (We didn't grow up in a huggy family IYKWIM).

    So now I'm going to:

unload WM and sort laundry = hang on radiators etc
    put out all rubbish/recycling
    wash all pots

and listen to M People while I do it.

Thankyou for being there ladies. I haven't got my brain round how this thread works it's miracles. It is enough that it does.

    Hugs to all
