Well done on the OP's, you are really on the home straight now.
Very sympathetic towards your other half - about 10 years ago I had a very unpleasant line manager, used to make working life very difficult.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hi Goldiegirl,
thanks for that, it does feel like the home straight. Re OH I just think lifes too short to be bullied and miserable. I'm self employed and like my job so as long as we can get by that's the most important thing. That's been behind trying so hard to be MF really.

Thanks Poppy, hope all's well with you? I still can't quite believe it when I catch sight of the figure on online banking. This time last year we still owed over £22000 so that's not bad going :cool:0 -
Still have a long way to go here (although slightly less after doing a sneaky OP yesterday after reading your diary!! :rotfl:).
My DH left his permanent job this year & is now on a lower paid temporary contract. It's made things a bit squeaky here, but he's much happier where he is now.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -

Nothing like a sneaky OP to brighten the day  - even wee ones can make a difference.
Good to hear DH is happier and hope things are not tooo squeaky. Is he looking for a permanent job again?0
