I always give puss the option of going out or staying in on a night (I would feel happier if he stayed in tbh as I'm such a worrier ~ my family laugh at me as I feel the need to tell him to stay on this side of the road & not to eat anybody etc :o) ~ he usually wants to go out though, but I think that's because he was a stray & is used to doing his own thing.

The cat shelter is brilliant ~ ours is wedged in a fairly sheltered corner between a fence & the house as we don't have enough plant coverage in the actual garden.

Sounds perfectly normal to me - I tell our boy 'be good, don't go on the road, don't go in any dog gardens and come back safe' every time he goes out :rotfl:. Am pretty sure he doesn't listen though :rotfl:.

Shelter sounds great, good he uses it. They do have minds of their own especially ex strays .

Hope the snow in your area goes soon - fed up with winter now, I'm sure it was last March we had warm weather! I really am off to bed now, night, night. :)

Doh due to mince heid forgot to say last night that the mortgage balance section seems to have disappeared from our online banking page on H@lifax. Just us or has it happened to anyone else?

No, don't worry, mine has gone too. Hal1fax are changing the mortgage information they show online so are [STRIKE]farting about[/STRIKE] in the process of doing that. I'm not sure how long it will take but apparently we'll be able to see transactions (presumably including OPs) instead of just the balance.

Hope the mince heid is better today ;)

My mince heid has persisted  I've been soooooooo tired been in bed by 9pm some nights which is uheard of as am a night owl on the whole. Got up this morning and had some boiled eggs and oatcakes then went back to bed and slept - again I don't normally sleep in the day. Don't know what this virus is but wish it would go away - I need my energy back!!

Will be back later to update the bit of my week when I wasn't sleeping :o

Well, inbetween sleeping and feeling tired have been working. Very long day on wednesday which I really struggled with. On Thursday left for train at 9.30 then got a call when on train to say first appt was cancelled - went for a coffee and got another call to say 2nd appointment was also cancelled . A girl can only drink so much coffee so felt quite wired by the time I got to work. Really tired by the evening and in bed at 9pm. Managed to get through yesterday but was really glad it was the weekend so I can sleeep loads.

Got a cheque via Equitini - had to send proof of identity, cheque is for about £18 so will be an OP when it clears. No idea why they sent it though - must be something from years ago I'd forgotton about?

Pleased with our MFi 3 progress - we've paid off 18.74% of our target ao far. Got a letter from the H@li about the new way they are doing mortgage accounts. Our payments have been recalculated and are now about £100 less than they were about a year ago. Obviously it'll take longer to pay off the rest of the mortgage if we stick with that but we can ring them to rearrange regular OPs.

Am really tired now but waiting up for OH to come back - he's been to see a show in Edinburgh, its one I got him tickets for as part of his Xmas pressie. I've seen it a couple of times before but OH likes to go back and back to the same things so he's gone with someone else . Will be going to bed as soon as he gets in and I've asked if he enjoyed it etc etc.

Hope the mince heid disappears soon!! :(

Well done on the MFi3 progress :T

We got our new Hal1fax payment too ~ it's only about £50 less per month than before so I'll have to make sure I make at least that as an OP every month. Things are a bit tight here so I won't be able to make any proper OPs for a while. Boo hiss.

Gosh you were posting early Poppy. Sorry to hear things are squeaky on the OP front - still worth making smaller ones when you can though and hopefully it won't always be like that? Hope things improve on the money front soon :)
