Pointless selling more ST's than others if it is still so low that it could put the business plan at risk.
To be fair, you probably couldn't keep Wayne Rooney in petrol and grannies with the difference in money0 -

You optimistic for your team this season Gen?
I know it is very early days, but loved the table last saturday evening when we were (temporarily) 4th!
If we survive, building work will start on improving our stadium. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I think this season might be a tough one for The Spurs. I'm not convinced we have the resources for the Champions League and the Premier League. I am hopeful we'll get out of the group in the CL. I think 4th might be beyond us though.
Still we live in hope, The Future's Lillywhite.0 -

I agree with you. I'd argue progressing to the group stage CL would be progress. I feel you could struggle to retain 4th.
I'd be worried that 'arry 'as already started grumbling about fixture congestion.
I hope my team get more points this year. I feel we're doing the evolutionary building, as opposed to sudden transformation. I am optimistic (apart from Englands best goalkeeper having to retire:().
However, the future isn't lillywhite.

'arry's a complainer. "We're dahn to the bare bones" etc. It's his way. Not as much fun as Mourinho's quotes, less annoying than other London managers who fail to see a scything tackle 2 feet in front of them and then go on to complain that refs can't see anything happening at all points on the pitch at all times.
It's pretty easy to see a series of steps where you consolidate and become a solid fixture in the top flight. After all the Saints managed it for yonks and they were the prototypical, sh 1 t ground no fans* side.

You can't beat the original Wimbledon with top flight football with gates of around 6k.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Wigan are trying hard mind. Isn't their average gate only around 10k?
& only 60 fans to white hart lane last weekend?
percentage-wise, we were the highest scoring club last year, with over 98% attendance in home games.

Looks like Dawson will be out for a fair bit Gen.:eek:0

I could not make out if he had broke his ankle or done his knee. Most of his leg joints seemed to be in the wrong position going down.0
