Yea I had a quick look at their website and saw that actually, fair play to them. Obviously the 45k isn't big enough for Englands most successful club, but I did notice there were plenty empty seats knocking about in their stands near the end of last season
Season ticket is restricted to around 29,000 I think.
They do not allocate all seats for season ticket holders.
All grounds allow for away, hospitality etc. Also not everyone can make every game regardless of being a holder.
Cup dates etc, are extra also.
edit,
Also did you see how we were doing the end of last season.:o0 -

You a Liverpool fan Really?
You're not a scouser though are you? Are you a glory hunting child of the 80's like my brother?
Are you my brother?;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I am not a scouser.
Born in the 70's favorite colour was red, it was that simple (also my elder bro supported them so drilled in at a young age).
(the 80's, if only to be back where we were then)
I think it is fairly common for my generation though, just like 20 year old being man-ure fans now.
I have stuck by them so that gets past the glory hunter status.:)
We all know no one under 50 supports WWFC as a glory hunter.0 -

Not so sure I agree on that one
Besides there have been recent(ish) successes. We all know no one under 50 supports WWFC as a glory hunter.
Are you forgetting our Sherpa Van Trophy triumph?:D
I agree though. As a child of the 80's I had to put up with endless giggles from my dad about the flags in Wolverhampton being at half mast, because Wolves scored a goal... Oh how we laughed! Of course, him being a Villa fan, I haven't mentioned anything to him this weekend. :silenced::whistle:
Seriously, I value how well WWFC are being run currently. It gives me a good deal of optimism for our future. Maybe not this year. Maybe not the next. But soon. And for the rest of your life...:cool:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

True, single tickets are available for almost every game, then again the ground does hold 76,000
Even the Geordies who normally sell out everywhere as well. Didn't take their full allocation last week. There again Monday night football could be a killer for many clubs attendances. Travelling between Manchester and Liverpool is easy. Not so to London for a match.0 -

Thought this was because Newcastle were restricted to an allocation of around 1,800 as a punishment for their fans standing during previous seasons games.Rather than a case of the club been unable to sell a full allocation.0 -
Wigan took 60 fans to their away game against spurs this weekend. Now I know they've had 2 6-0 tankings, however, only 60 fans! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

The fact is that Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd all rely on Champions League football in order to prosper. Take it off them for a couple of seasons and I fear for their solvency. Chelsea of course are a special case as their owner appears prepared to cover any losses incurred by Chelsea.
If you could afford a wage bill of £100,000,000 on Premier League income, the likes of Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle would be doing so and as a result would be able to compete regularly with those that can afford those salaries.
If one of the big 4 is kicked out of regular CL football then they will be in financial trouble before too long.
you probably do Arsenal a dis-service. Their match day revenue exceeds £100m.
Liverpool and Tottenham's match day revenue is around £40m each.
Arsenal the only large club run like a proper sustainable business - although what would happen if Wenger left could change things.0 -

I think you will find that there many United fans of all ages, not confined to one era or area for that matternot many teams can claim that a foreign country declared a bank holiday because their team won the premiership
then again Liverpool have not really tested that one.
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
