  • Hi Travelman - wondered if you could get me a quote for New York City next May.

1-All airports you can fly from: Any midlands ariport (Manchester/birmingham etc)
    2-Duration : 7 days
3-1st & last dates to leave the UK: Ideally leaving on Sat 20th May 2006, although could leave as late at Fri 26th May 2006
4-Are night flights acceptable ? Yeah
5-Party size & kids ages: 2 Adults (one is a student aged 21 one will be U22 if thats any help)
6-Board basis you require (ie self-catering, all-inclusive, h/b, bb...etc): Room only would be fine, but B&B would be good.
7-Type of resort: Just want a hotel nr to Times Square/around the Empire State Building - ie Midtown/central location.
8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to: We are specifically looking at NYC
9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids: No less than a 3* hotel
10-Prices required by what day/time? As soon as you can pls.
11-Max. budget FOR THE WHOLE PARTY!!! Including flights and hotel - £2000

    Thanks
  • Shirlgirl is there anywhere particular you would like to go as your asking for a flight up to 2 1/2 hours which does not leave much scope apart from the Spanish costas or for some city break destinations.

We love Italy and don't mind Spain. I just want somewhere warm enough to sunbathe (whilst the other half looks after the baby ;) )

  • Hi-in this case you're definately best looking at the low cost airlines & their links for Hotels (think it's easyjet, try https://www.skyscanner.net for all low cost airlines).

This will definately be cheaper than through an agent.

    Good luck!

  • Hi-The other travel bods on here will know more/have better prices for NYC.

I can't believe how much my family & I saved on a holiday, (2 adults & 2 kids). After looking at package deals from high st travel agents. I decided we couldn't afford it. After reading what people had put on here, i decided to contact travel man! He saved us £600 easily. Got a lovely hotel, BA flights & transfers. A great service. Highly recommened. Thank you
