For holidays that are that far away it might be best to contact a travel agent such as ** Personal details removed - Edited by Abcon ** she works for the same company as travelman but I found often gets better deals and as the budget airline wouldnt have the prices out for that time of year it might be a better option if you need to book up and not wait.(mbooth and Lipsticklady)

I went to the travel agent today to get a holiday to DUBrovnik from glasgow for two adults from anytime 11th june onwards for one week.But nothing - totl=ally mistified can anyone help ? I was really wanting to go not bothered wether bb etc just a nice hotel 9 i heard the excelsior/ dubrovnik palace are nice ).
I have tried on line and cant get anything.

She's had no joy at the travel agent or a few online companies and knew I may be able to help out as I'm a "cheapskate" (happy to be one!!!!)

2 ad, 2 kids (age 5,11)

Wants to go "somewhere hot, the hotter the better" for half term. (Canaries, tunisia, cyprus, anywhere will do, although not south side of tenerife ) No more than 4 hours flight.

Can leave anytime on Fri 21 Oct up to Sunday 23rd Oct for 7 days. They have to be back by Sunday 30th. Latest flight to start at 7pm please.

Any board basis, but up to £1500 for self catering, £2000 for AI. Maybe able to push these a little if needed.

Priority is good ents for the kids (something to amuse them in the evenings), a kids club at the resort is a bonus, but not essential. Beach nearby preferably, but not essential. However a pool at the resort is!

Can only fly from Gatwick.

Hello,

On scheduled flights you'll definately get a better deal on-line-most Travel Agents can't compete.

Short-Haul packages & Mexico/Dom Republic/Cuba/Egypt are what I specialise in.

Best tip-find the 'general sales Agents' on a google search for the airlines that fly there-these are what they call 'consolidators' (used to be called 'bucket-shops' in the eighties-now completely legit). Each Airline generally has 2 Agents who help them sell seats-prices are very good as you are cutting out the middleman (!)

I want to take the kids to Jersey next May/June (Half Term)
Can't fly before 28/29 May (exams!) and need to be back in England by 6 June latest.
Prefer to fly from Midlands - either Birmingham or East Mids - but consider Liverpool or Manchester. Luton possibly but last resort.
Night flights possibly but only if they extend, rather than shorten the break IYKWIM - happy to fly out early or come back late, not the other way round.
It's just me and 2 kids who will be 3 and 9 and a half. And I get sick of being penalised by travel firms for being a single parent/less than 4-person family!
I want flight/accom inclusive (too short on time to try co-ordinating my own deals) and prefer s/catering but happy to be flexible.
Any ideas?
