You don’t bring me flowers
You don’t sing me love songs
You hardly talk to me anymore
When you come thru the door
At the end of the day
I remember when
You couldn’t wait to love me
Used to hate to leave me
Now after lovin’ me late at night
When it’s good for you
And you’re feelin’ alright
Well you just roll over
And turn out the light
And you don’t bring me flowers anymore
It used to be so natural
To talk about forever
But used to be’s don’t count anymore
They just lay on the floor
’til we sweep them away
And baby, I remember
All the things you taught me
I learned how to laugh
And I learned how to cry
Well I leared how to love
Even learned how to lie
You’d think I could learn
How to tell you goodbye
’cause you don’t bring me flowers anymore0 -
Was really happy with my flowers - they arrived on Saturday morning - in excellent condition and well packaged. Thanks for posting - my DH obviously took note!0

I ordered the Tesco 12 red roses for £20.
They were delivered on Valentines day by Royal Mail.
I only counted 10 then realised when they came out of the box that 2 had broken off and were at the bottom.
Should i complain ?Never buy a stupid dwarf -
Its not big and its not clever.0 -
Just been speaking to someone who works for the company that supplies one of the major supermarkets with their flowers (not Tesco). The roses that this supermarket was selling for £20 a dozen were actually being bought for 58p a stem from Colombia - £6.96 a dozen. How criminal is that?Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

Reminds me of the time I used John Lewis last year. Can't remember how much they were, bought their condition was shocking and to top it off, there were only 11 roses!!!
Managed to get a refund, best thing was I used a voucher to get £10 off, so I made £10 on the deal!!!0 -
Hi All,
After seeing the condition of my girlfriends 12 red roses from Tesco when she got home, I emailed Tesco. They had black petals and were in very poor condition, all shrivelled up.
No joy by today, so I phoned them. The call centre operator told me this was normal and if I followed the flower care advice leaflet they would recover in 24 hours!
I told him I HAD followed the advice and that they were already well past their best when they were delivered. He then agreed to credit my card with a full refund.
If you were not happy with the quality of your roses, have your order number handy and get ringing!

I to ordered roses for my wife to be delivered on Valentines day.
They turned up on the 16th at 13:00.
I tried ringing on the 14th but could not get through, so I emailed and received an automated reply that they were very busy.
I rang Tesco's customer service again on the 15th and was told that the flowers were on the van, when I said that was a bit late the rep got very stroppy and offered to have them taken off the van.
She said that if I would allow here to explain the flowers were being sent at no charge and another bunch would be sent at the weekend.
I thought that was a result but could have done without her attitude.
Luckily my was was very understating. However they flowers were half dead when they arrived0 -
I own a flower shop, and all I can really say to all of you who have had delivery problems and quality issues with the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer is. SERVES YOU RIGHT, but maybe you’ll support your local businesses next year.
Supermarkets are muscling in on all the smaller traders in the ‘High Street’. They cherry pick the lucrative things to do, and do them cheaper and that’s what closes the independent trader. It has been shown by the number of complaints on here that in some instances purchasing on price isn’t best practise.
Fortunately because Florists do provide more of a service they have lasted the onslaught for longer. If you don’t use them and they all go to the wall who will be left to do what the supermarkets aren’t interested in? Like your funeral flowers or your Wedding flowers?
When you buy these cheap bouquets, all your buying is cheap roses. As Tesco have illustrated their ‘Finest’ roses were the same price as everyone elses.0 -

On valetine`s day I got a bouquet of one dozen beautiful red roses from Morrisons for £4-99.
Tell the truth and state what price you were charging for the same on the same day.
I have all the sympathy in the world for all my fellow moneysavers that were let down but maybe some of them would go to their local florist if the prices were`nt dramatically raised on that day as they will be again on Mother`s Day.0
