Maybe we could have (Tesco) Value-tines Day scheduled for February 15th next year especially for late flower deliveries a day late?0

They turned up around 13:30. Wasn't terribly impressed with the quality, but you get what you pay for

If there is, it may help convince my wife that I did actually purchase them on the 6th feb from Tesco's website. Their email confirmed:
Your order is confirmed and is scheduled to be delivered to

on 14 February 2005.
Some chance of that.
What is even more annoying is that you can not get through to either Tesco or Parcelforce, the latter does not even have a phone number on the site. All that glisters is not gold, except moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I managed to get through to their answerphone at the 15-20th attempt?!
There is now a standard message regarding tesco flowers -
Apparently it is only a problem for a small amount of deliveries. They say they should be delivered tommorow -plus a further one later this week and a refund for the original bunch.
The message claims they are contacting all customers, well it is 21.25 here and I have heard nothing.
Sorry, to vent my frustration on this one, but it really does make me angry. All that glisters is not gold, except moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thanks Martin... Sainsbury's are also culprits though. I know a couple of people (inc myself) that didn't have their girlfriends flowers delivered! I know my girlf would have loved them as she mentined 3 friends who got theirs. I kept wanting to tell her but obviously couldnt. Now it will just look like I ordered them last minute as she mentioned her friends and I felt guilty
Again why ask for a delivery date if you can't deliver? Also, when I rang cust services it just kept hanging up. Nice! I shall be writing to them A.S.A.P. Couldnt earlier as my girlftriend was round..Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -
I have just sent Sainsbury's this e-mail:
Dear Sir or Madam.
I am writing with regards to your Valentines Day flower delivery service.
2 weeks ago I ordered a set of 12 roses to be delivered to my girlfriends house (ref xxxxxx) and selected the date on which I would like them delivered (14th Feb). Having been asked what date I would like them delivered I have to say I was disappointed that they failed to be delivered today even though my order status says "complete".
I ordered from you because I thought I could trust a big company like yourselves to get things right.
Why give me the option of choosing a date for delivery if you cannot fulfil that date? I did ask on the phone if it would make delivery on that day as I was a little concerned and was informed there should be "no problems".
I have to say I am extremely disappointed, and I know I am not the only one who was disappointed by this service.
I'm sure you may deliver the flowers tomorrow but it will now look like I have ordered them after my girlfriend talking about her friends getting flowers today.
I look forward to hearing your reasons behind this.
Regards...Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -

It's really not good enough. I feel for you people, and it makes me wonder if I should continue shopping with Tesco's.
They let me down really badly when they delivered a grocery shop a week before Christmas. It arrived a day late, which wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't have had guests the evening it was due to be delivered. We had to make do with what was in the fridge (not much by the way).
I do think they think they're big enough to walk all over people, so I hope you all complain and complain strongly.
Good luck all you blokes who might be in the doghouse because of Tescos and Sainsbury's.0 -
My order was not delivered yesterday (Valentine's Day). I am bloody furious.0
