Does anyone know where to get onion powder from? I've seen in Tesco onion granules & onion salt- would they do the same job?
Looking forward to trying recipes from the second book :)
    Thanks x

I use onion powder now but I think I got my original jar of onion granules from Lidl.

Tried the salt and pepper chicken wings tonight (from the first book), they were awful! I followed the recipe to the letter and the stuff was just weird and wasn't nippy as such but made our faces tingle. This isn't anything like the salt and pepper chicken wings from any of the takeaways we've tried. Is the recipe wrong?
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Some evenings I just can't be bothered with the faff of shaping the donner, or the burgers, so I just season the mince and fry it. This is lovely with salad and wraps.

We have gone Takeaway Secret mad over the last couple of days. Yesterday we had, chilli beef with special fried rice and crispy seaweed. That was absolutely yummy, everything was spot on. This morning my son cooked the bagel with omelette, which was very nice. Tonight we had the whopper of a burger with chips (made in the actifry) and coleslaw (our own homemade) and again it was lovely.

I have also tweeted photos to Kenny McGovern and he has made some nice comments. My son was particularly pleased that he was complimentary about his bagel this morning :)
