If you've got a Chinese or Asian supermarket near you they have just about all the ingredients you'll need to make the recipes from the book.Dum Spiro Spero0 -

I would second the curry sauce base - I doubled the ingredients but only added 2 ltrs of water. This made a much thicker sauce which took up less room in the freezer.
I made the naan breads, but added Nigella seeds. These are EXACTLY like naan bread from the indian takeaway
. Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -
I'm just off to the shops now, but before I go, can anyone recommend something from this book that we could have for dinner today? Three adults too tight to buy a takeaway and can't make up our minds what to cook!!0

Thanks for the suggestion. Bought all the ingredients we need for the chicken kebab. Was going to do lamb, but someone in our family doesn't like lamb!!0

Made the tandoori chicken from 'the curry secret' Forgot to take pics whils making it, but the end result, (after we had eaten to our full) was this:

I thought it tasted lovely and would give it: 4 *'s out of 50 -
