That's great, glad that you liked it.

I did the same when I first made it, with onions and peppers and I think I had some spare mushrooms as well that I chucked in.

I had bought a pack of those tiny pittas from Tesco so we used those as that is how I used to eat it.

Lots of lovely garlic sauce all over, lovely!

I will have to make up another batch of the mix as I am running low.

Surprising what good recipes you can find on the net!

    :D
we had it with wraps, not very authentic but was delicious

on your recommendation :D I'm going to try it with chicken next time & I've got some of those tiny pitas in the freezer, so that's one of next week's teas sorted :)

You won't get a lot in those tiny pittas which means you will have to have more!

    :D

Plus, if you have more small ones it fools you into thinking you have had a bit more than you my have had in a wrap.

my youngest son, well he's 24, had three wraps & wanted more :o goodness knows how many of the tiny pitas he'll get through!

I'm going to put it on my recipe blog, I'll give you the credit though :)

(the blog's for the kids, to stop them continually asking me to write out recipes for them)

Try putting it in a plastic food bag and squeeze it etc through the bag.

    ;)

What an incredibly brilliant, yet simple idea. Thankyou!

Hmm...can anyone spot the cooking novice/dunce over here :o:o

What an amazing book. I have been making the spiced onions and munching them daily. Loving it!
