I am now not so convinced this book is money saving at all.
After making a few of the recipes I headed off to the supermarket to stock up on ingredients seeing as it is my payday to conjour up some more wonderful dishes.
In my eagerness to get home to make my daughter a burger, whislt looking in the rearview mirror whilst reversing out of sainsbury car park I failed to see a small black bollard,(which should not have been there)consequently I reversed into it,ripped half of the rear bumper off the car and smashed the rear light cluster off for good measure as well.:o
I am hoping a second hand rear light cluster, some gaffa tape and a tube of hard as nails will somehow stick the lot back together again.
Luckily it is an old P reg escort so not the end of the world but those burgers better taste pretty damn fine once I get this mess sorted, cos my missus is giving me right old ear ache for getting the book.:(
I also want to know why the French's mustard was not on the end of the aisle with all the other mustards, because this could possibly have been avoided if I did not have to tour three aisles to find the bleedin thing and it may have still have been light when I left the store.0 -

At least you have a sense of humour by the sound of it which helps.
Could have been a lot worse.
Hope you enjoy your meals, if your wife likes doner kebabs make that one first, she will def be impressed.0 -

I don't think anyone can post recipes from the book on here to be honest, the site would get in the doo doo for breaking copyright rules.0 -

For anyone wanting to try before buying the book if you go to Amazon you can click on the picture of the book to look inside at a sample of pages. The recipes for the doner kebab and some of the burgers are there.
You can also see the index to see all the different thing you can make.

Edit: I've just had another look and now it skips past the recipes? I wonder if it only lets you view them once? :huh:Dum Spiro Spero0 -

I have just looked and it doesn't show any recipes and this is the first time I have looked.
A bit daft putting them on there really as the kebab recipe is one of the main ones people buy the book for!0
