    Copy just arrived! Cant wait to test all the yummy recipes!! Need to sit down and write my christmas food shop list so will be adding these on,but where to start?? Spoilt for choice!!

    also a vote for the kebabs :D.
    noticed a couple of people have had problems with the cookie dough, i am useless at baking but must have got lucky cause i had no probs with the mixture, although i've only made it once. i find getting them out of the oven at just the right time is the difficult bit!

    Hi all. I got a great recipe for Tandoori chicken pieces from itv's This Morning by Atul Kochhar. I am too new to post a link but you have what you need there to google it!! To add yourself a cheap mint yoghurt dip - use some of the left over yoghurt, add mint sauce, a small amount of lime juice, and a small amount of honey. adjust to suit personal preference.
    Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

    Just made the cookies: I halved the recipe and used wholemeal self-raising flour plus 75g of soft brown sugar. Formed the log ok and cooked in 7 minutes. They're really tasty and will make again.:j:)

    I've made the banana muffins tonight, I added some chopped walnuts, they are the best I've ever made, light, fluffy, nutty and banananary. They won't last long DD2 is already wanting a third, plus they have made the house smell divine.

    Made the Chilli Chicken Chow Mein last night... am I the first to try it on here?

    Overall the meal was ok but it wasn't too flvoursome and wasn't really like the Chinese takeaway chow mein... less greasy for a start. I will certainly try it again though.

    However the marinade that the chicken is in is BEAUTIFUL... just like the Chinese marinades you get in the supermarket in BBQ season, but none of the ridiculous colourings to make it bright red. I would happily marinade the chicken like that again just to have on its own as part of a larger meal.

    Can honestly say I have never tasted KFC but I have tried southern fried chicken recipe and it is delicious! It was the first thing I attempted with the potato wedges. Happy cooking!
