I dont oil the tray or anything because the book didnt say to do anything:o
when they came out of the oven I left them about 5 minutes then put them on a wire rack
I havent made them yet so I'm just going by what i 'normally' do for cookies. The oil isnt needed I just use a tiny spray to help get them off the tray/foil but perhaps its not needed for this recipe...........?
On the topic of THESE cookies - are those who have made them making them plain or doing the cocoa powder adaption?? I really fancy making them later but wth the cocoa powder in them

I just put my cookies onto a baking tray that's non-stick. The roll was a lot easier to slice when it had been frozen (I made one to eat immediately and froze another). I made the mistake of cooking them for too long when I made the first batch, as I usually do with cookies, but the second batch was in for a couple of minutes longer than the book says, because our cooker leaks a bit of heat.
They never look or feel cooked when you first take them out, it's only when you leave them that they harden up.0 -

Nothing yet
I just haven't had time to bother with cookbooks for a few days because of work/college etc, I've been cooking good old favourites out of my head.
I might try the cookies tomorrow though and I've got the weekend off (shock ) so will definitely try something 'proper' then.0
