lol do you have kids already then?
I hope you guys don't mind my indecisiveness...I'm like this with everything so feel free to ignore me if I start getting on your nerves.
My logical thinking is that if I decide to go for a car seat to stay in the car then I get to rule out a whole bunch of pushchairs as I won't need the travel system functionality! Or does it not work like that?Plus I'm curious now too coz I never thought of that:p
Don't worry about indecisiveness either..have you seen my umpteen questions(probably repeated myself) about nappies?:rotfl::rotfl:
If it helps, work out how often you're likely to use the car with baby if it's only couple of times a week then a fixed seat might be a better choice for you, especially if you share a car, we have decided on the one car seat but have 2 bases, one for each car so we can click bubs in and go instead of faffing around depending on which car we're using:) britax do a 0-1 fixed seat for about £100 which should last til bubs is 2 I think???? and then you'd have the pram/buggy on top of that which will be approx £100 too so costs arounf the same as a bog standard travel system anyway:) HTH a little and not confused you even more;)1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Morning all (just
)
carp night's sleep - loads contactions but then wore off. Kept getting stuck in bed too and had to keep waking DH up to turn me over. Have also woken up with fingers the size of sausages, I actually can't even make a fist, groan. I think I may actually be becoming fed up with this overdue lark now, must do something to cheer myself up!
TNV - sorry your birth was so difficult. I would consider writing a letter at least when you're feeling a bit stronger
MV - congrats on team blue
Kitkat - glad to hear all's okay and yay to being a mummy by the weekend
I'm torn between wanting labour vibes and stay put vibes for a September baby
Oh, does anyone know why Xmaslolly is in hospital? It's on FBUpdating soon...0 -
Our name is Stefan. It's not a name that's popular and I worry it might seem like an 'old' name for kids nowadays. It's also a name that we both wanted before we even met each other.
One of the guys in The Vampire Diaries is called Stefan so you might find it becomes more popular if the series becomes more successful?!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Steffan is quite a common name in Wales, I went to school with 3 of them0

I think I'm feeling the same way. But I can tell with my luck that I'll go into labour on the 31st! :rotfl:

Sooooooo Yummy. But now as yummy as Damon:
Well I'm still here. Haven't heard anything from my MW since last tuesday. And even then it wasn't my proper MW it was a sub. She said she'd put a note for my normal MW to ring me and sort out a time but nothing.....
DTD last night. Absolutely nothingWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Xmas is back in because the midwife mis-calculated Alex's weight loss and thought she'd lost 10%... It turns out she hasn't but they wanted to keep her in and observe her feeding anyway...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes
MLSL: I really like Kaelan, it's quite unusual and I think goes well with Callum. I'm having a sweep tomorrow and then induction Friday. My MW doesn't think the sweep will work but I requested another anyway. I just wanted to avoid going to the different hospital Friday as I know I'll be admitted and it's an hour away rather than local birth centre which is 10 minutes. If I have bubs at local birth centre he/ she will be born in Wales and if he/ she is born at 'big' hospital they will be born in England (and where I was born!)

I've had a couple of times, last night included, where I have wondered if I'm starting but then it comes to nothing. Sometimes I feel, er, really moist downstairs and wonder whether it's my plug or a slow leak of my waters but then I check and there's nothign there either.

It's silly really cos we're all only days away from meeting our babies it's just suddenly dragging. I'm getting a bit sick of being so huge now, the novelty of no one being able to get past me when I'm in the kitchen has long since worn off!Updating soon...0 -
