I knew my DD was a girl from before conception, and I have a 98% record at predicting friends and relatives babies too (got 1 wrong). I have a weird concept that you "get what you deserve" and i kind of calculate the sex based on:

1) Length of time trying/conception difficulties
2) Mothers excitement
3) Mothers preferred sex
4) Sex of existing children

Based on these factors I think I "deserve" a boy but we'll see

We are not finding out our LO's sex (I have always loved surprises), but I do sometimes think we would bond more if we knew... find it quite exciting guessing whether it is a he/she kicking my insides though.

Princess - do you do predictions for strangers (as a bit of fun)??? If so, based on your 4 questions above my answers are:

1) Stopped taking pill end of April 2010, started trying straight away, LMP started 21 May 2010, conceived sometime in the few weeks after that, so very quick!
2) I am more excited than ever thought I would be, thought I would be more nervous than excited (maybe that will come nearer due date?!) not enjoying the pregnancy but very excited to see baby
3) I honestly do not have a preferred sex (do I need to answer this one for you to predict?!)
4) No existing children.

Oooh Princess do me do me!!

1 - Stopped pill end May 2010, last LMP a couple days later, BFP end June (ridiculously fast I know)
2 - Erm, sounds bad but Im not mega excited. I am looking forward to having another baby around but Im not hopping around or buzzing with excitement or anything. God thats bad isnt it
3 - Id prefer another girl
4 - 1 DD age 2

BOY I'm afraid (although without knowing you it's much more difficult, on paper it is definately a boy if i knew you i may say girl)

My answers are very similar

1 20mins:rotfl: (despite 5 years with DD)
2 Very excited but not as much as with DD
3 Same as you prefer girl (as DD would like one, and have tons of girl stuff + no boys in family so I don't know what to do with one:o, I'm a girly girl)
4 Same 1 DD age 2
