    Love that idea :)

Just a heads up for those who like a bargain.

Went into Debenhams to buy a little pressie for my friend who has just had a baby girl. Picked up a pack of long sleeved/legged sleepsuits from the Bluezoo Baby range marked at £10. Had one of the free £5 Debenhams vouchers (no min spend as long as it's over £5) from the Grabbit board to use. Got to the till and the sleepsuits had 20% off so were only £8 take off the Debenhams voucher and they came to just £3 :j

The 20% offer is on till the 12th on certain childrens clothing :) the sales assistant also told me that the week after that Debenhams are having one of their 50% sales and it will include almost all of the baby items ;)

You can claim as many Debenhams vouchers as you like per person but I think you have to use a fresh email address each time. I'm going to print off a couple more and go back and get some more baby grows from the same range but in blue for my friend who is due next week. Might even be tempted to get some for us too :D

They've stopped offering these vouchers now but there is a text version you can get instead - only one per mobile number though.

Anyone know where I can get non wired bras in a HH cup or over that don't look like something your gran would wear?

I have tried the usual places, M&S, simply be, brastop. LOADS of underwired ones available, but not non-wired.

Oh really? I printed out 4. Used 3 already :s Feel a little guilty. My Debenhams at work is sooooo small. I've used all the tills. I was planning on treating ourselves to advent calendars next. So far got mens socks (will put in OH xmas hamper - lucky him!), a bath mat (which I was buying anyway), and towels (again was buying anyway with some gift vouchers I had already). Wanted to get the bunny vests too, they are £6. I have £13 worth of debenhams gift vouchers left to use. So might as well try and get them to stretch further if I can. :money:

//Edit - the debenhams offer is closed :( But you can still use existing ones you have.

Really - aaah poop! Luckily I have one text message and one extra voucher printed out already :j

I have three phones so wonder if I could get away with using all three numbers for text vouchers :p

Not sure such a thing exists - I'm only an E, but all my nursing bras look like granny bras, even the ones that try not to :(

I'm still wearing my underwired bras, and plan to until bubs arrives, and I'll be back in them a whole lot quicker than last time too. Good luck with your searching

Had a rough night last night - didn't sleep from about 1am til the alarm went off at 6am :( I was having braxton hicks all night, it actually made me realise that it's not long to go now!! And all I could think about was that I don't have any nighties for my hospital bag yet, and I am the only manager in for the rest of the week!! SO I have been exhausted all day!

Had my first antenatal class today which was fine, although hubby was not overly impressed - he thinks that because he has seen several hundred lambs being born he knows it all!!!!

    Hello!
I'm just sneaking in from the less than 12 weeks board
I am only 5 and a bit weeks but when I woke up this morning my BB's had stopped hurting.
    Kkxx

Can't help as I had sore BB right through but wanted to say hi and hope you stay around...:)

In case anyone wants to stock up on nappies before the big event!!!!

MV - sorry you are struggling , hugs sweetie. I can sympathise with you not wanting everyone to polute your airspace. Darn inconsiderate with their colds!!

Lilian - I am going for the flu jab on the 10th. After feeling sooo bad with just a cold, I am not going to take the risk! The office I work in is manned 24/7 so any germs tend to get passed round like wildfire anyway.

Pukka - glad everything is ok, not so good about the late night though!!

Fuzz - dear god, I think I just about frightened the bejesus out of the guys in the office with my snorty laughing at your foof being used for fireworks to get baby to shift!!! :rotfl:
Thanks for the update on Legs too!!!

Evansangel - welcome  What a lovely idea about the card for you to open on xmas day!! Love it...

JoJo - hope you manage to sort your poor DD out and get her happy again!! I know what you mean about how you feel about the guys on the board. I too haven't met anyone but they feel like old friends already!!!:D

Fairyshazza - I used to buy and sell all the time on ebay but you here so many stories like yours that I am pretty reluctant to bother anymore. I can see me heading off to a car boot sale and chancing my luck there!! And no fees!!!

Starjumper - welcome and another baby!!! Woo Hoo, we are going to have sooo many lovely pics to cooo over soon!!!

Princess - 20 Weeks woo hoo!!! And scan tomorrow!!! :T

Sammy - Not heard of pumkin patch, they online?

Dusty - hugs sweetie and very glad you cleared the air. Never nice to hear hometruths but sometimes it is needed and gives you something to work on and improve on. I do really think men are from another planet!!! A friend of mine was dumped by her OH and read one of the men/mars women/venus books and then gave it to me and it was a revelation that they really do think differently and sometime you just have to be blunt with them as they are useless at guessing what you want/need. My Oh thinks it's fine that I now tell him what to buy me for pressies as he generally can't pick up on the signals.

Hungry - hope you are feeling better and hope you didn't need the bucket on the train!!!:p

Cat - hugs, hope you feel more refreshed tomorrow.

Well, my 20 week scan is tomorrow (21 weeks gone already). OH is ripping the house apart at the moment and in-laws arriving tomorrow so all action packed. Last nightshift and very glad to be having some time off from tomorrow. Will try and keep up with the board, tough at times!!! But I will be back tomorrow night with an update!!!! Probably a short one you will be glad to hear!! lol

Good luck to all the ladies who's babies are thinking about coming into the world to join us!! Sounds like there may be pics soon!!!

    xx:T

  • Hello

I hate my MIL... this morning I prepped a stew and stuck it in a slowcooker, switched it on and went out. She popped round to "help" by cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom then proceeded to switch off the slowcooker. Despite me having clearly left her a note saying not to. SO tea wasnt ready when we came home but should be good to eat at about 10pm... so we are having that tomorrow. Stupid woman.

    MILs, doncha love 'em:rotfl:

    Hi all,

I am 16 weeks and have developed a lovely cold, can I have a lemsip? It says on the leaflet to ask the pharmacist.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't. DEcongestants are probably not ok in pregnancy.

Good luck happy scanners. Does anyone else feel like they have been stretched? I feel like Bilbo when he had been wearing the ring for a long time IYSWIM?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
